Those months with 31 days, mess everything UP.."support you local Rigger " That's why I do all my date/time calculations in seconds. I just work from the One True Epoch (Midnight, Jan 1, 1970 GMT) in the One True Timezone (GMT) and it's all pretty straight forward. If you want to know what time it was on that particular day, just modulo by 86400 (Because there are 86400 seconds in a day, dontcha know?) and convert the result to hours, minutes and seconds. If you need to know when your reserve repack's due, just add thirteen million, eight hundred twenty-four thousand to the seconds-timestamp of your last reserve repack. You don't have to muck about with how long months are, leap years or any of the rest of that crap. Oh and by the way, I'm declaring jihad on UTC. I don't technically have the power to declare jihad, but I'm doing it anyway. Leap seconds are an ABOMINATION!I'm trying to teach myself how to set things on fire with my mind. Hey... is it hot in here?
wolfriverjoe 1,352 #8 September 5, 2014 Oh my. That's pretty complicated. All you have to do is figure out how many months in the repack cycle have 31 days. For the OP it's March, May, July & August. Subtract one day for each of those months from the day of the repack (add 2 if February is in the mix). In this case, it's 7 minus 4 equals 3. Which means Krisanne was right (which is no surprise). And leap seconds are pretty cool."There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit."
