I don't want to accidentally end up on the wrong side of that line

When Turtle crossed that line, he thought it was just a crack in the sidewalk. :)

and yesterday, as I was running through the wind and rain... Not so fun!!

Okay, now I have to "front-door brag" about my race on the same day. I've decided this year to do a bunch of Rock 'n' Roll series half marathons, and Sunday's race was in Washington, DC. It was also cold and rainy -- and I finished 16 min ahead of my goal time. B| I'm still floating on that particular accomplishment, so though I tried to resist making this about me, I just couldn't any longer once I saw your "wind and rain" post. :$

In solidarity, however, I can totally relate to your experience on Saturday! Swore off half marathons for many years after two very unpleasant events. And you certainly deserved that beer for the distance you ran! :)

Nice one :)
And finishing 16 minutes earlier is nothing to be humble about - that's pretty awesome! Well done you :)

I hold it true, whate'er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;
'Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all.
