Comfort Padding An Older Rig

Recommended Posts

i have a rig that is oldish, i've had her modified to be freefly friendly and am on i tight budget..

i was wondering if there was anything i could do to make her more comfortable in the legs and maybe the back and shoulders at a push ...

any ideas that wont require a mega mega remake of the harness & container?

Yep. A couple of my rigs have foam padding slid down in the legstrap area held onto the outside by a couple of stitches. Works like a champ.

I did this with my old Vector. Slid in some foam that is pretty rigid, about 3/4 inch thick. It is now much more comfortable now. I didn't tack it down and it still seems to stay in place.....Steve1

going to get my local rigger lou lou to put the padding into the legs (it's all that matters)
