When will I learn how to quote properly??? This is what I meant to post.... I completely agree. If a guy is an a$$hole....there are plenty of reasons to give for why I am not interested. But with the "nice guys", there is nothing bad about the guy that makes me not interested...it is just that the chemistry isn't there. I have this problem all the time. But then again....I tend to go for the bad boys...who turn out to be a$$holes! My cat loves pickles....comes tearing through the house when he hears the jar. He also loves peas....I roll them across the floor because he loves to chase them...pounce on them and then eat them. That's just plain nuts. There have been guys that I have dated that initially I am totally into and want to spend every second with. But then for whatever reason...after a couple months into the relationship I can hardle stand being around him!! I can't even imagine marrying someone so soon!! I wouldn't change any part of my life! What I have lived through has made me who I am today. Sure there I things that I regret and should have done differently...but it is these experiences that have molded me into who I am. I love who I am and where I am at in my life. Although there are many things I want to improve (not change) in my life...I am very happy with my life. I also wouldn't go back to be younger....life has only gotten better with age! ----------------------------------------------------- When you're going to extremes...you taste adrenaline!!

Before I started jumping...I was looking for a long-term relationship. I felt like at 29 I had outgrown the "just out to have fun" mentality. But now that I have been lost to the dark side mypriorities have changed. Jumping is my priority now. Plus, I don't think any whuffo would understand my life at the DZ. I like to go have fun...flirt with all the guys...and live free. And I don't want any whuffo guy I date to spend time with me at the DZ. That might mean I would have to be on my best behavior and what fun is that!! So, now I am back in the mentality of "just out to have fun". I am slowly starting to learn about DZ dating. Let's just say I am enjoying it! Right after my first tandem, I was talking to my JM and he knew I was hooked. He told me immediately that skydivers can really only date skydivers because whuffos just don't get it. Of course at the time I didn't believe him...but I am starting to think this is true. The other dilemma I am having now is any whuffo that I date wants to come out to the DZ to hang out with me....but I don't want them to. I just feel like I won't be able to have as much fun with them around....feel like I would have to be on my best behavior...and what fun is that! ----------------------------------------------------- When you're going to extremes...you taste adrenaline!!

My dilemma was that I was dating a skydiver (I was a whuffo at the time...he got me to do my first tandem). Things didn't work out. So, now that I have started jumping I have to see him all the time out at the DZ. Makes for a very uncomfortable situation!! And now that I am jumping...he keeps trying to get back with me.
