  1. Terry suggested i put his phone (408) 238 4747
  2. sad that i missed the opportunity at Hollister, but this just arrived: Come jump out of the belly of a B-17( 4 engine WW2 era bomber). On Thursday afternoon, May 20th one load will be flown from McCullen AFB and dropping over SkyDance SkyDiving. The cost is $400 and the jumpers must have an 'A' license and a waiver on file at SkyDance SkyDiving. SkyDance is only allowing the DZ landing area to be used, so if your interested or for more information please contact Terry Deltier [email protected] It might be arranged to leave from Travis AFB... m ~ a temporary reconfiguration of stardust
  3. Sweet! it looks very different from the corn field i narrowly escaped back in '78. I think my dive master was Robert Cohen. Is he still jumping? m ~ a temporary reconfiguration of stardust
  4. Dang there are some fantastic experiences posted here. As if life was ever booring! Without too much detail, the last thing i remember in my body was the warm wet salty taste of blood pouring down the side of my head as i fell to the ground, feeling numb from the impact, and as i lay on the pavement, i looked up at a street light and thought "ah what a way to go, i haven't even been in love yet"..... i was in a comma for 8 days, very out of body. In a kind of tribunal, as i remember what seemed like a tall granite dais, and above it were beings of light, or beings that could be sensed only by the light their body emitted. Behind me were about 60,000 beings also in their light bodies. I had an undeniable impression that i was being evaluated, or "judged." However the only feeling i had was that everything is perfect. like Everything is Perfect! No shoulds, or wishes, or desires, or regrets. The only emotion present was Agape, universal Love. Then i woke up in the hospital, and started the long path to healing. It occurred to me at the time that there was some kind of willing that kept me attached to life in this body. Like some kind of task i was here to complete. Not that i ever saw the manifest..... I've read some of the research and while it is possible that this experience was just a biological event, isn't this life just a biological event? There are huge systems of theology, and ideologies that say that life is just a dream. In the end, it is only our actions that we truely own, and take with us when we leave. I don't know what is on the other side of the doorway, or where all those light beings exist, but i have seen them on other occasions, even more bizarre experiences, and not at all connected to death. But that is another story m ~ a temporary reconfiguration of stardust
  5. as long as it isn't raining count me in. i've been jonesin' to get an altitude fix. i could bring a dozen limes, the press, and some good tequila too.... or is this cosmo weather? m2
  6. ... because he can? yes Hookit is a F&%kin' great free flier! He actually could have done it without swooping in from another jump. Except, Shannon your right hand looks like it was just gripping the hackey, as does the twist in your body evidenced by the offset of your legs. If Tim was pulling you why is he looking the other way? Or was he just trying to be nonchalant, if that is possible in free fall? i don't know much about photo shopped, as there are some interesting digital artifacts in my screen's resolution anyway around Tim's suit, but like Bonnie said, the terrain at Byron looks like that. The focus is a little suspect, but the lighting is similar. Post the original Hookit photo Deuce! m ~ a temporary reconfiguration of stardust
  7. i did a naked skyvan load for my 500th jump at the byron boogie. it was a great time. even seeing kellycopter funneling the 10 way we had just about built. no worries it was her 100th too, and i think deuce has posted a picture or two somewhere around here. everything was fine untill pull time and i went to grab my balls at the same time i grabbed the pilot chute, so i went head down just as i deployed... hahaha thank god for spectres fantastic oppenings!!! still it was a little shocking.... but i'd do it again in a heartbeat. m2
  8. Dropoutdave you might consider yourself perfect, that everything you have done so far has allowed you to be here now. it is a way to win, and then, there are better choices to persue pleasure... m ~ a temporary reconfiguration of stardust

    Purity Test

very interesting, which deck do you use? throw me down and see what you find!!! after pop up hell, it told me 19%. i think the other non virgin test was a little more sophisticated, i scored a 16% pure, there are 6 or so things i'm not interested in, but there is room for improvement, if anybody wants a coach... hahah don't worry about me, just pre-party post whoin' m ~ a temporary reconfiguration of stardust

  11. i went there last weekend, to hike to the top, but my friend in from Maui didnt have the strength, so we got as far as Nevada Falls.... still it was schweeet!!! if you really want to give it a go, spend the night there and get a start befor the sun is up, like 7 am at the latest.... and have good shoes. they take the cables that are on the top, the last 1000' ascent, down in the middle of October, so that folks don't get caught in a flash storm, and they put them back up in the spring... get out and do it!!! check teh yosemite web site. i ran into an austrian guy i had jumped with at the nor cal free fly fest that was schemin' on a sunset decent, but i didn't see it..... i pray he and his friend got away with it.... m ~ a temporary reconfiguration of stardust
  12. yo chop chop, i'd love to hang, or sit/stand in a slot, i could even lay base on my belly if it is needed, but lummy better bring that silly suit....this is going to be epic... if the wind isn't to wicked.... m ~ a temporary reconfiguration of stardust
  13. what is six times seven? lmao....
  14. my grandfather said the days drag on the weeks go by and the years fly.... i celebrated my 45th last April, but i still haven't gotten a pops# yet. This last year was fantastic. Started a daily yoga and meditation practice, burned off 25 lbs., and still did 160 jumps! (yeah could have done more).... The jumpsuits i have are too big now, my fallrate is too slow, and my clothes are almost falling off, but i feel better than i've felt in a decade! m ~ a temporary reconfiguration of stardust
