  1. I jump a CC95 loaded 2:1. The 20/30 first jump I did, it slammed the living hell out of me. I went to a 22" PC and it definitively made it better, maybe my neck got stronger =). Now I had put more than a 100 jumps on it and I get the ocasional slammer. I came from flying a Stiletto 120 which is on my second rig now (More predictable openings). My ST 120 seems like a student rig now. After openings the cc95 flys awesome. It flys way steeper than the ST and other canopies I have flown side by side the same size. Which I like. I have landed many times with no front risers input (that was the first reason I got it) with no issues whatsoever. I had a few openings with line twists and it always flies straight. Yesterday for example I had two line twists, very tight. I was able to kick one and suddenly the canopy dove to the right which I thought was going to be a for sure cutaway. I grabbed my handles while looking my altimeter (2300) and when I was about to pull, the canopy got stable and flew straight. I kicked the other line twist. Maybe luck maybe the canopy. My trusty st 120 doesn't see the light anymore. -------------------------------- I have no friends under 2K

  5. I got a comp cobalt 95 2.1:1 and coming straight in with 20+ winds was not an issue. No carve, no front risers nothing. When I decided to keep this canopy that was one of my main issues (Landing straight in without any radical input) I flew this canopy straight in for about 15+ jumps in different wind conditions before doing any front riser manouvers. -------------------------------- I have no friends under 2K

  8. In my experience, I always dealt with good people. I had bought/sold all my gear through the net. My first canopy, the guy sent it to me before I even sent any money. I have bought 3 containers and 4 canopies without any problem. I have sold maybe the same amount to people that doesn't know me. Everything worked out ok. Maybe luck but I think there are still people with some integrity in their life. -------------------------------- I have no friends under 2K

  10. Ok, This is not a flame but my personal experience. I got about a 1000 jumps. I weight 190 at the door. I have about 600 jumps on stilletos. I currently own 2 stilettos 120's plus the comp cobalt. I had an opportunity to get a used Comp Cobalt 95 (150 jumps) so I did, I want it something fast to swoop that I could land without hooking it everytime. The previous owner told me that the openings were brisky. I am a tough guy so I said to myself it means pack it better. I have a 24" cazer pilot chute, I dump in track, hop'n'pops, 12 + rolls on the tail, shove the nose all the way in. I don't know what else. Every single opening is brisky to say the least. Every weekend my neck is so sore that I think my head is going to roll out of my body on every opening. I am sore today. I was the week before and the week before that one. And the worst is if I tried to look at my opening...God save me... whiplash. I have tried to video my openings and all I got is me filming my feet. I have done everything Atair's site says to do, relax, dump in track don't grab the risers, etc... I have now 20 jumps on the canopy and it flies. I mean IT FLIES. it is fast, dive nice, good riser input. I have landed straight in, double fronts and last weekend I started to carve it to get used to (Way different than my stiletto) but I can't pass on the openings and I am ready to dump the sucker. Oh well, maybe the regular Cobalt is what everybody praises. This 95 is not. My Sabre 170 was sweet compared to this one on openings. -------------------------------- I have no friends under 2K
