My research indicates that there was such a man . His name was actually Moses Moriah El . He did achieve the Christ initiation. He didn't die on the cross as evidenced by people seeing and talking to him after the cruci fiction. He was buried in Shri Lanka many years later. we've been jailing Enron types for years, and yet execs continue to cook their books. Greed doesn't go away. But as as weekender is unsuccessfully trying to point out, few crimes were committed here. Gaming the system is not illegal, nor is fucking up or participating in a bubble. And one division of a large firm may act differently than another one...the better ones will coordinate as much as possible to save on transaction costs, but it's not a given. Well, I didn't write the damn book, but I have thought about this before. The other thing you need to think about is HOW a day was tallied in that time. Whereas most of us today think of a day beginning at 00:01 and a farmer 200 years ago would have thought of a day as being from sunrise to sunrise, at that time a "day" was from sunset to sunset (as is still the custom in several Middle Eastern religious calendars). In any case, I've never understood the three day thing, but then again, that was something I figured out around age 10. Yes Quade, that's probably where I fail, I've always considered a day as from the time I wake up (around 6:30 a nap after coffee at 7:30 and waking again at 9;30 , lunch 12 30 and a nap. Cofffee time at 430 . dinner at 730 . But twenty four back to 630 am. LOL!!! Jim B

OK now.., don't throw stones!!! What if Jesus didn't ever actually die on the cross? When Simon went to collect the body Pilate was all like(and this is documented in your bible) he's already dead? Death by crucifiction takes several days. Especially for a man as fit as Jesus who walked from town to town eating fish and figs, olives and bread. Crucifiction was a long, cruel ,tortuous death. It took days not hours. And Pilate would have known that. He would have known the expected amount of time one would have to hang on the cross before they expired. Breaking the legs of the crucified would speed up the death but from the Biblical accounts we know(?) that His legs were not broken. The lance thrust into his side and immediate expulsion of blood and water tends to support the heart still pumping! Did Jesus die on the cross??? The Muslims believe that he did not die on the cross. My research supports their belief. He was seen after the crucifiction so surely he was not dead! Peace, Jim B
