We have a situation where the terrorists kill large numbers of civilians, intentionally. And in order to fight them, it's inevitable that some civilians will be killed accidentally. That's a simple fact of war. If we forego fighting the war, in order to eliminate accidental civilian casualties, then an even greater number will be caused by the terrorists. Unlike the dozens of massacres Israel carried out in 1948 against Palestinian civilians? Seems like it would suck more when you can't defend yourself. Obviously Israel will not since they have demonstrated quite clearly since '04 or so that they are fearful of the peace offensive. Unlike Israel they have actually maintained ceasefires. Israel don't have to pull out of the Gaza. They have to pull out of all the occupied territories, accept the right of return and begin to negotiate an actual peaceful settlement in accordance with the opinion of the entire world.
