  1. Good luck to you too! Physical therapy has been kicking my butt! But there's light at the end of the tunnel cause I can definitely seen a difference in range of motion compared to earlier on in therapy. Take care! Vance
  2. Councilman, thanks for the advice, I appreciate it!
  3. I've given that some thought for sure, but had shoulder surgery a short time back and am still doing therapy to get range of motion back. If all goes well I should be back to 100% by the end of the year. Vance
  4. Looking for thoughts on selling my gear. I'm military and have been out of the US since 2004, last jump in '04 as well. I've got an Eclipse container, Spectre 190 main and Tempo 170 reserve, and a Cypres that's rapidly approaching it's 12 year point. Equipment has @ 100 jumps total. I'm going to get it inpected and repacked but not sure about replacing the Cypres, maybe just try to sell it without?! Regardless, especially since I've been out of the sport for quite some time, I'm looking for some advice on what y'all think is the best way to get my rig sold. Thanks!! Vance
  5. A cool place to stay in SD is Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach. Sleeping over the ocean on a famous pier...really cool. Fish tacos = Rubio's, 'nuf said. Sushi = the absolute best is Harney Sushi in Old Town. Great sushi, great atmosphere, it's really the only place is SD that I ever go to for sushi anymore. Good Hawaiian Plate Lunch = Da Kines in Pacific Beach, ono kine grinds brah! (Great Food!) The Hotel Del is cool, but dealing with going back and forth over the bridge to get into SD and back can be a pain occassionally. Have a great time! Vance
  6. Vinny!! Congrats dude, that's great! We've got to share some jumps and some tequila in the near future man. I'm getting sent south for the winter and probably won't be jumping for awhile. Catch you later! Vance
  7. Great pics Peter!! Seb's gonna love 'em! Vance
  8. Just read the article...Rebel, you rock dude! Congrats and welcome to best, though quite dysfunctional, family. Vance

  11. Thank goodness it's Friday Hopefully no one has been totally infected with this... There is a new virus. The code name is "work". If you receive "work", from your colleagues, your boss, via e-mail or any one else, do not touch "work" under any circumstances. This virus wipes out your private life completely. If you should happen to come in contact with this virus. Put on your jacket and take two good friends and go straight to the nearest pub. Order three drinks and after repeating 14 times, you will find that "work" has been completely deleted from your brain Forward this virus warning immediately to at least 5 friends. Should you realize that you do not have 5 friends, this means that you are already infected by this virus and "work" already controls your whole life. Vance
  12. PADI Divemaster. Been diving since '87. Guam, Tahiti, Cozumel, Florida, San Diego, all over the damn place. Still love it but skydiving has taken a higher priority. Though I plan on doing some scuba and skydiving in Hawaii in July Vance
