as with last year spence, we will be taking our dz to dublin for the boogie again

i want to thank everyone who came out to this year's hog-flop! we had to overcome many obstacles as i must not have paid my bill with mother nature. after being winded out most of the day saturday, we still managed 25 otter, 10 caravan and 43 cessna loads for the weekend! thanks goes out to the cooks...joyce and the deland fall guys did a wonderful job with the food this year. the pig was excellent! the hog flop was mostly weathered out on saturday, with most teams doing their jumps on sunday. i still haven't heard from the judge, but will post as soon as i do (spence, the first one counts, not the second ). Thanks again for everyone who endured the rain friday night and the wind saturday. we will be doing it again next year and the dates will be posted in the next week or so!

:60:0 well, first off the number is slightly inflated as 45 of those were made on my birthday friday (one for every year). i couldn't have done it with all the help! mike and al packing for me, jim flying and my girlfriend tammie, keeping me safe by checking me each load. all of them got up with me and started bright and early at 6:00 am and although we had some issues throughout the day, we got everyone together for a big-way at the end of the day. thanks again to everyone involved! oh, i did get pied severly friday night, pics to follow!

sorry spence, i have been taste testing them for years, i can save you the trouble, i have put on about twenty pounds over the years eating them, so i will take the hit for the team and have them all for myself

sign-up is until noon on saturday (there will be a sign-up sheet in manifest), when the teams will be drawn and the competition started. we will have several organizers there for the belly flyers.

okay everyone, the skyvan is broken and is not going to be repaired in time for the boogie. i have tried to obtain another tailgate aircraft, not sure if it is going to happen or not as the cost of getting it there is pretty high. we will have deland's otter there at nine on friday and through the weekend, plus our caravan (it will be flying thursday through sunday also). like i said, i am stll working on it, but may not know the results until thursday. on a happier note, the helicopter will be there at 10 on saturday. the price will be $45 per jump and he will be able to take four people at a time. blue skies, art

:7:0 made three at the bridge on saturday, one solo and two with the love of my life, great pics, met a few old friends and made a few more, thanks to jason for another wonderful event. drove all night saturday with tammie and jared to get back and made four tandems, one with a wonderful little girl who's time is limited.

caravan starting on thursday, availiable all weekend skyvan will be getting there on friday morning, through sunday balloon jumps will be availiable, weather permitting, but with the number of outs, it has to be near perfect conditions. may or may not have a helicopter, it has been hard to negotiate a price that is acceptable to both the jumpers and the dzo there will be hot dog cart there everyday. the deland fall guys are cooking dinner on saturday. costume contest on saturday night, winner(s) receives four free jumps on sunday

andrea, i didn't know you packed for yourself, oh i forgot, you haven't jump here yet, too much drinikng from the mason jars anyhow, we have expanded the packing area, but with the number of people expected, it will be tight, so bring your mat in case.

No problem Mike, I will take her on Friday. It is my birthday and I am gonna to try and make a jump for every year I have been on God's green earth,,,28,,,lol. Anyhow, I am trying to arrange a pilot to start flying early, say around six so I can get enough in by 10 that i can play around the rest of the day. Afterwards, everyone can join me in some Tenn. Spring Water that we haven't paid Uncle Sam any taxes on (even you Andrea, we will just moderate your intake this time, .)
