I've been watching this play out, popcorn in hand. I've ridden a time or two in a pack There is certain protocol that is followed in a normal formation. This is strictly for the protection of the riders. This was NOT a formation ride. The riders did nearly everything wrong. Having ridden drag and blocked for a pack, distance is your friend and reduce speed slowly and evenly to allow space. Dart and drag is a bad plan. That being said, If the guy had rolled down his window informed everyone that he was calling an ambulance after the first contact, it most likely would have ended without the ass whipping. Once the driver bulldozes and runs, the game changes. You know have more people pissed and a high (ish) speed chase isn't going to calm anyone down. It was a mess from start to finish...not to say I've never charged a cager a mirror tax for doing something stupid..

You do remember that the SC upheld it narrowly based on the Fed's power to tax. You do remember that for the entire pre-vote pitch the administration denied that it was a tax and if it hadn't been shoehorned into that definition it wouldn't have been upheld by the SC.

Granted I'm a little short on time, but a cursory search for the news of Obama repealing the patriot act came up empty. In my current position I had about a month where I could blame my predicessor for issues. After that, it was my baby. I talked to Freddie a few days ago and he was excited about the trip and the upcoming airshow season. I told him that I would come visit after we got Sun-N-Fun behind us...just like I told him last year and it never happened. Gee-I've owned at least one gun since I was 13. I started driving at 15. Despite the two year lead time I've had quite a few vehicle accidents and zero gun accidents and never tried to intentionally harm another with either one.
I respect your right to be unarmed and you're just going to have to deal with the fact that as long as I'm alive and not locked up, I'll have a firearm.
