  2. You're not going to convince any of the internet experts and armchair quarterbacks that there is another way to look at things. This is a local story for me so I've been flooded with coverage and angles and evaluations-I still see a tumble, not a throw. It sucks but if you flail around while someone is trying to move you, momentum can take you out of control. Unfortunately it seems that a lot of commenters carried so much of their own baggage in to the conversation there was no room left for the truth.

  6. Seems like a lot of folks were moving AWAY from the gunfire. Sort of what I expected to see.
    I loved the next video up about the DPS warning that bikers were going to target cops with grenades. (1) Note that it never happened (2) Check that one of the 'sources' was from the Black Widows MC.   7. So her lawyer says she's oh so badly injured. What does a doctor say. I'm definitely not pro cop, but I've never sported an ACAB tag either. I tend to treat each person and situation as stand alones. Keeps me from being so married to a side that I can't see truth.

  9. The desk throws a lot acceptable techniques out the window. I also didn't see a kid get "thrown across the room". I saw a bad attempt to control (although I'm not sure what would work better) turn into a stumbling mess. I'm seeing a situation get so turned that this kid still won't learn that she has responsibilities for her actions and if nothing changes that, she's going to become one of those adults that make me question my anti baby murder stance.

  14. Replying to no one and everyone, I haven't had the opportunity to see much of the testimony but have seen snippets promoted by both camps to determine that the posters here came out with their prejudices intact without regard to anything said to or by congress.
    My take based on the little testimony I have youtubed...HRC knew it was an organized attack well before it was aknowledged, Before the Sunday talkshow appearances. This is important because if the truth was abandoned for political expediency after the attack, it's possible that the inadequate security measures were in part, or in total, a direct result of the administration's and or the State Department's desire to claim greater progress than was actual during an election cycle.
    I also believe that the hearings are a waste of resources because there will not be any accountability or more than lip service acceptance of responsibility.No more than there has been from the IRS targeting, the Oh I'm Screwed Heathcare Act from the this is not a tax line that worked on the confirmed ignorant to the you can keep your doctor-which wasn't a lie as much as a mistatement caused by a disconnect from reality.
    In other news-wouldn't a little of that 80's foreign policy be handy.

  19. Yep-mostly limited distribution outlet. The very few network pieces are no investigation/repeat the WPC press release stuff while a single guy robs a store, charges a cop and gets shot and it was all over the news for months.
    Peoples lives were trashed for being in the vicinity of a crime. A JoP files probably illegal warrants and sets unjustified bail. The cop that swore the warrants admits in court he was lying. Most things point to at least notable amount of CYA by Waco PD. ATF as an independent investigator is a joke. They've already been slapped down several times for creating cases against bikers where there was none.

  22. Well I stopped by today and there was a canopy in the air when I pulled up and it looked like some folks were signing up for a tandem. I bought a shirt foe a friend. I would have bought myself a save the otter shirt but they didn't have fat guy sizes on the rack. Then grabbed a late lunch at a local place and made sure to tell the proprietor that the ONLY reason I was in town was to visit Mile-Hi

    I've been stopped by cops for looking like Darth Vader on an outlaw Harley.



    I used to say that, even though I didn't watch the show, I could tell when the new SOA season started by the increase in times I got followed or pulled over. Oddly enough, same guy-same bike-but now no patch and it doesn't happen nearly as often. On the flip side very few of the interactions were negative. I am legal and tried to be polite and that seemed to go a long way. Mostly it was "What's that?" "Some people call it a getback whip" "What's it for?" "Decoration" "Are you sure that's legal?" "It is in this state. I've heard not in California but you know how weird the west coast is" :D
