I always hated getting apples or oranges, cause my grandmother always kept those in her house,so I could eat those any time I wanted.

I will say, back when I was a teenager, if I would have thought about those tricks, I would have done that...like you said no harm , just a mess. after all, its called trick or treat, right?

Get some candy and some ice trays. Dump the ice in a bowl. Get some alunimum foil, cut square pieces, wrap the ice cubes in it. Put them back in frig. When a they come a knockin' on you're door, grab a couple of wrapped ice cubes and a handful of candy. Put in their bags...imagine what happens when that ice melts? Especially if they have a paper bag please don't do that to kids under 13...only the one you think are to old to be knockin' on doors for candy .I used to know someone who actually done that and yes I thought it was funny and cruel

I tried to wear that hat with them in, but it cause that annoying whistling noise. so i went ahead and took them out.after I get done whith the tandem jumps and strart wearing the student rigs and and helment, i might try to wear just one and see what happens.

well i jumped yesterday...was a little nervous. I decided not to wear the aids. I wore the leather hat. Now I've got 90 days to do my next progressive tandem as part of the training. Hoping to make the next one by thanksgiving weekend. I just hope its not cold.

when I was a baby I got spinalmentigaties...doctors belive thats what caused it. I have close to 70 % hearing loss. and yeah I went through 6 yrs speech therapy. all the way to 6th grade in school. you live around birmingham area?

I would consider a skydiver has someone who is in the process of getting they're "A" license or who jumps at least on the average of once a month.

I have moderate to severe hearing loss...been wearing them since I was 4 yrs old. I'm 36 now. I remember the first time I done a tandem, after the chute deployed, I thought i went completely deaf. The jumpmaster was trying to talk to me,had to tell him I couldn't understand a word he was saying.That was back when Gold Coast was at Moss Point,Miss. I'll be going to Emerald Coast sunday.And BTW, its good to meet people who have same problem as me. Nice to meet you ! Any tips would be appreciated, Thanks!

Hey ! I'm starting my AFF this sunday and I have to wear hearing aids. So can I wear them while skydiving? The wind won't blow them out will it? Last couple time i went I took them out. And they are digital, in the ear ( half shell ).

that is a good idea...thanks! I do have thermals I can wear when winter comes...may have to get something to keep my face warm. and some good gloves that are not bulky but keeps hands warm.

and that was at the end of Febuary.. hopefully they will have one of them leather flying caps this time..if so, then I should be alright.

Well I remember the first time I jumped...I didn't have any head gear on....and my ears froze on the way down...after I touched down,my ears was so numb,it must have took an hour for them to thaw out..
