  1. No. Actually, it doesn't. Being a US citizen carries no special weight in regards to targeted killing of terrorists. Oh, ok, so you, like Amazon, approve of the POTUS ordering the execution of US citizens without giving them their day in court? The irony of you, and her, accusing others of abandoning the Constitution is astounding. I do. Because he is not protected under due process of the law. 14th amendment prevents States and local laws from taking away those rights. Nothing about the United States or any "Federal" language. Well then, I guess the feds can take away any of your rights they want as well. 3. But this is simply semantic bullshit. There was a process. It was very public. It wasn't the process you think it should be, but it was absolutely a process and an exceptional one dealing with known terrorists. If the guy didn't want to be considered a terrorist, he could have flown to a neutral country and turned himself in. All the rest, I don't give a crap about. He was a US citizen. That trumps all else. 4. Hey...get in line! I made the call about winter coming on several weeks ago. We'll see how they deal with frostbite and other discomforts, esp. when a blizzard hits. How much would you bet they'll be running for cover inside the buildings that house the very people they are trying to protest against? 5. I do not. It's self evident. Look, I get it. Some of you guys don't like Obama. Fine. Just remember who the actual enemies of the US are. That's pretty much what I thought. As far as I'm concerned, anybody who thinks it's ok to execute a US citizen without due process can go fuck themselves while they're fucking the Constitution. And yes, Quade, that includes you. No hidden PA from me. 6. When some people pick up this ridiculous strategy of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" as a debate tactic in an attempt to stir up shit against Obama, then they ARE aligning themselves with some pretty fuckin' evil people. Such is the case in this thread. Anwar al-Awlaki was a horrible fucking person and a blight on humanity. Again, fuck him. Care to state who you see in this thread using that strategy? I mean, if you're going to tell somebody to go fuck themselves at least be man enough to address that person directly and not through some not so vague but vague enough insinuation. 7. He repeatedly told his story on YouTube and Al Jezzera. In doing so, he renounced any loyalty he may have ever had to the US and was an active recruiter for terrorism. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anwar_al-Awlaki Again, fuck him. Anyone who wants to defend this asshole can also go fuck themselves. Nice way for a mod to act. Very nice. BTW, who has tried to defend him in this thread? In this forum even? 8. Anyone that knowingly harbors a child rapist deserves jail time. Fuck him. Yup Desert Attorney.from many of his posts.. is good with that....... the bubba option. A rather poetic bit of retribution for someone who commits such a crime, don't you think? I'm sure she would be more than happy to approve of his pre-trial execution by drone should Obama see fit to order it. MORE FROMAGE....... I expected nothing less (or more) in your response. 10. Enemy identification issues yet again there Kennedy FROM WIKI.. Anwar al-Awlaki ( April 22, 1971 – September 30, 2011) was a Yemeni-American[9] imam who was an engineer and educator by training.[10][11] According to U.S. government officials, he was a senior talent recruiter and motivator who was involved with planning operations for the Islamist militant group al-Qaeda.[2][7][12][13][14][15] His sermons are alleged to have helped motivate at least three attacks inside the United States,[16] and was the first U.S. citizen to be added to a list of persons approved for targeted killing by the Central Intelligence Agency.[17][18][19] With a blog, a Facebook page, and many YouTube videos, he had been described by Saudi news station Al Arabiya as the "bin Laden of the Internet".[20][21] U.S. President Barack Obama alleged that Awlaki was "the leader of external operations for Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula".[22] Free speech issues were raised when US government officials asked social media websites to remove al-Awlaki sermon videos fearing calls for jihad.[23] U.S. officials allege that Al-Awlaki spoke with and preached to a number of al-Qaeda members and affiliates, including three of the 9/11 hijackers,[24] alleged Fort Hood shooter Nidal Malik Hasan,[25][26] and alleged "Christmas Day bomber" Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab;[27][28][29] he was also allegedly involved in planning the latter's attack. The Yemeni government began trying him in absentia in November 2010, for plotting to kill foreigners and being a member of al-Qaeda, and a Yemenite judge ordered that he be captured "dead or alive".[30][31] According to U.S. officials, al-Awlaki was promoted to the rank of "regional commander" within al-Qaeda in 2009.[4][32] He repeatedly called for jihad against the United States.[33][34] In April 2010, American President Obama approved Al-Awlaki's targeted killing,[17][18][19] an action unsuccessfully challenged by al-Awlaki's father and civil rights groups.[35] So now you believe what the government tells you? How convenient it must be to pick and choose what you want to believe and what you want to dismiss for the simple reason it doesn't agree with your own personal ideals. 11. Because I do not dance to your ludicrous drum or timetable.... neener neener neener....now quit your whining.. and go get some cheese I'll take that reply as meaning "Yes, as long as a Democrat orders it but not if a Republican does." 12. Why don't you quit your whining and answer a very direct question? 16. Tsk Tsk Tsk... so just paying lip service to that whole Constitution yet again.... you and yours are good at it... but that is all it is... America.. Land of the free??????? Freedom.. I would think would include not getting shot because some bully wanted to teach you a lesson. The Constitution gives us no warranty against injury because of stupidity. I believe you have misinterpreted the document in more ways than one. 17. No, i do not think an order to disperse is a death sentence. It is fucked up to even think somebody would agree with that. You, like your hippie friends, think it is ok to do whatever you want without regard to what affect it has on anybody else. the protesters at KS, just like in Occupy, are a very small minority. Their whole intent is to disrupt everybody elses day until they get what they want. Difference is, these pubks don't know what the hell they want. Protesting is fine. It is NEEDED. But when everybody else says "enough!" it is time to wrap it up and go home. Those idiots at Kent didn't learn that. I'll bet your hippie friends didn't tell you about the protesters plans to cause a violent confrontation any way they could, did they? of course not. It makes the punks at Kent look bad. 18. I had a teacher in high school who was there. You were not. I have undiluted first hand accounts of what happened. You have media-fed propaganda. NG should NOT have been called in. It only enraged the crowd. Most students milling around were NOT involved. The protesters were ordered to disperse. A LAWFUL ORDER to disperse. They chose not to. They had made the decision earlier in the day that they were going to make something happen, good or bad. Some chose to throw rocks. (How the fuck anybody stupid enough to throw a rock at a man with a gun ever got into college is beyond me.) The rest is, as they say, history. A relatively small, very vocal group refused to comply with a LAWFUL ORDER and directly led to the deaths of 4 people, a couple of them innocent bystanders. The protesters got exactly what they wanted...violence. Yet people like you try to portray them as victims of "the man". Guess what, honey. You poke a bear in the ribs and you'll most likely get bit. These stupid punks didn't think the bear would bite. Like I said before, freedom is not absolute. There are always limits. 19. http://www.commondreams.org/further/2011/11/07-1 I would really like to see the whole video... My guess is that they were likely ordered to disperse, he wasn't dispersing, he got his answer as to "is this ok?" Hmm looked more like one "good" cop.... handing out a bit of his own brand of justice. I mean a guy with a camera.. is such a danger to a huge number of officers in full riot gear. Do you ever get tired of apologizing for thugs in blue? BANG!! "OW! OW He shot me! OW!" That is freakin' hilarious! God DAMN I love it when a smartassed punk gets exactly what he asks for! "OW! OW!" There is an awful lot of the story left out of the video. Hmmm...I wonder why? No, I don't wonder. It's pretty obvious why the whole thing wasn't posted. "OW! OW! " That's almost as good as "Don't tase me bro!" 20. I have met thugs in blue. Fortunately, they are the exception. Thug or non-thug, a lawful order is a lawful order. It's not something that is open for debate at that moment. That's what judges are for. 21. You would have.... yet again..... supposed and assumed wrong. The fact that you condone the behavior of bullys in the name of law and order though.. is rather telling about mindless slavery though. Making excuses for abusive police... is just enabling them to continue to victimize Americans civil liberties... you know... that pesky Constitution thing that yall like to blither on and on and on about... but only certain numbers are important to yall rather than the document as a whole. I'm not making excuses for anyone who breaks the law whether they are a cop or not. You, on the other hand, are making excuses for every protester who breaks the law! You say they have the right to protest...and I agree, they do. But that right is not without limitations. You can not just show up and parade around wherever and whenever you want. With rare exceptions is NOT ok for cops to beat on people. By the same token it is NOT ok to refuse to comply with lawful orders given by the police to disperse. Refusing to comply never works out in the best interest of the protesters. YOU VILL COMPLY...... YOU VILL COMPLY America... Land of the free, home of the brave.. Ever mouthed that tired and quite obviously out dated expression?? You comply with laws every day. So do I. In that respect we are the same. So, when you berate me for complying with the law, you also berate yourself. But you can always set yourself apart. You can stop driving on the same side of the road as everyone else. You can ignore stop signs, one way street signs, etc. You can just walk into a store and take whatever you want without paying. Go ahead. See what it gets you. You VILL COMPLY!!! 24. safest thing is just to record/video the contact so that the police know they're being watched... Yep and then the honest thing to do is show the whole video when you get you ass kicked by the police for being stupid You are so well indoctrinated Citizen What? You don't think some idiots get their ass kicked for being stupid with the cops? A few years ago I watched a cop stand stone upright and take all the verbal abuse a punk could dish out. This went on for almost a minute until...get this...the punk poked the cop in the forehead with his knuckles. Instant takedown, headlock, and handcuffs. Tell us, please, just what fantasy world do you live in where idiots can get physically abusive and/or refuse to obey a lawful order without fear of a cop using whatever force is needed to control the situation? We do not live in a world of anarchy. We have rules and laws. There are consequences, both immediate and future, for all our actions.
