  1. Like madjohn I meet Sandy at this years SOS record attempt and was impressed with his story about getting his AFF done. I am glad we made a few jumps together in Elsinore and I am so sorry you are gone. Blue Skies Sandy Always happy to fall out of a plane
  2. check out locarno at www.paracentro.ch. they usually are closed on Mondays. the website has a schedule what is going on but in July that is a busy season. It isn't cheap to jump in Switzerland, jumps are about $50 Always happy to fall out of a plane
  3. Friends from Australia that are staying right now inSwitzerland told me the booked a helicopter jump in Interlaken. I will see if I can get more info. in teh meantime here is a DZ that si close by: http://www.skydiveswitzerland.com/ Always happy to fall out of a plane
  4. There is one in Beromuenster Switzerland at the end of June, http://www.paraclub.ch/skydiver/hella-herb/startseite.html Always happy to fall out of a plane
  5. I would put Locarno and Interlaken at the top of the list. Then there are two more DZ just north of Lucerne, Beromuenster and Triengen. There are more DZ each with it's own character. You may find links or a list of DZ at Swissskydive.org. Always happy to fall out of a plane
  6. 80 days left.... Always happy to fall out of a plane
  7. Stayed at Punta Maracayo the two times I attended the boogie when it was in Arecibo. No complains and it is slightly cheaper then Rosa del Mar. This year 6 of us renting a house. Always happy to fall out of a plane
  8. Once in a while I just can't run out the landing on my Spectre 170 and use a PLF. better a dirty rig then broken wrist or arm. Always happy to fall out of a plane
  9. Yes or we also could say the first nail was put in the coffin. What amazes me when we got the first PC's our thoughts were "Now we can fly the parachute!" Most of todays generation can't understand that progression and evolution. I just hope I can see the next evolution in canopies. Always happy to fall out of a plane
  10. Congrats and what a great way to celebrate Always happy to fall out of a plane
  11. Jerry, The 76 Worlds in Rome where the last were PC were jumped. We, the swiss, had a long discussion to switch to squares the pervious winter and then believed that we could not get enough jumps on squares to get top the same skill level as we had with PCs. I believe team accuracy was won by Germany with PC, we came in 5th. But what was impressive for me at that worlds was the women's individual accuracy won by a English girl on a strato star. her approach looked consistently perfect and stable glide path to the disk, not seen or demonstrated by any other square pilot at that worlds. Her wing loading had to be optimal, we just didn't know then. Always happy to fall out of a plane
  12. Very Clearly! How times have changed with ' the new equipment' Always happy to fall out of a plane
