  1. ? Every time I look up, I wish I was on my way down.
  2. Find one that will jump with you! Every time I look up, I wish I was on my way down.
  3. I need to see waht youhave to make a decision like that. Post some pics. Every time I look up, I wish I was on my way down.
  4. Just started "Hannibal Rising" by Thomas Harris. Seems to be ok if you are interested in the previous books. Every time I look up, I wish I was on my way down.
  5. Hi Dana, I work in AC and have been wondering about CrossKeys. Are they open all year and do you know what kind of planes they use. I jump from Skydive Jersey Shore in Farmingdale and they are very nice but very small. Two cesnas and most of the time they are loaded with tandems when the weather is good. I would be willing to drive out there if it was worth it. My goal is to have my A license by mid summer. Joe Every time I look up, I wish I was on my way down.
  6. Monique, I am very new to all of this but love it. I jump at "Skydive Jersey Shore". The weather, as you know is a little cool right now and the DZ is only open on the weekends by appointment only. I live in Manahawkin and the DZ is in Farmingdale, exit 98 on Prkwy. Phone is 732-938-9002 or look at the website. Hope to see you in the spring. Every time I look up, I wish I was on my way down.
  7. I live in NJ and was on level 4 of my AFF when my DZ shut down for the season. Will have to start over in April...........that sucks! Every time I look up, I wish I was on my way down.
  8. Hello! I am very new to the sport. I did my first AFF at Skydive PennRidge then started jumping at Skydive Jersey Shore. Welcome. Every time I look up, I wish I was on my way down.
  9. Thanks for the advice on the legs. My JM said I needed to get my legs "in tune" with my jump. He explained that my legs were a little wild and gave me a few ground excercise to do for muscle memory. I'm not going to give up I will keep jumping until I get it right, even if does cost me a fortiune. I don't know Betsy.....sorry. Every time I look up, I wish I was on my way down.
  10. I made my level 3 jump on Wednesday and it went pretty well. I started to turn hard to the left when the JM let me go. I think I was trying to pull my arm down to my head to look at my alti. Once I figured this out it was time to lock on and pull. It still seems to be uncomfortable when the JM is inside the plane on the jump. I have less of a problem with stability when he is on the strut. I know I will figure it out sooner or later. I hope to do level 4 on Sunday....if the weather is good. Every time I look up, I wish I was on my way down.
  11. I am on level 4 and fighting the clock. My DZ closes at the end of the month. The weather has not matched well with my free time. This has put me about 2 weeks between each of my jumps. I think it works out much better if you can keep your jumps close. If you take AFF1 now and wait all winter to go up it will be like the first jump. I also believe that there is a maximum of 30 days between jumps for the AFF levels. Every time I look up, I wish I was on my way down.
  12. Being very new to all of this I have not had a chance to experience other DZ's yet. I am still in AFF and have been trying to jump as much as possible. As you know the weather is not always cooperative. My level 3 & 4 jumps are scheduled for Wednesday. I work in AC so CrossKeys would not be a bad drive from work. I like the staff at SDJS. Every time I look up, I wish I was on my way down.
  13. There are only two things that you need to remember, relax and be prepared to sell everything that you own. Once you jump....you are hooked Every time I look up, I wish I was on my way down.
  14. Is there anyone out there from south Jersey? I live near LBI and am trying to meet skydivers in the area. Every time I look up, I wish I was on my way down.
