Ok, I contacted the PoPo's and sweet talked them. They said they have to wait and see if the tower owners want to press charges, otherwise I can go get the gear.

Ok guys and gals. got a question for you. Lets just say that my gear has been confiscated by a cop. There were verbal charges for trespassing but nothing in writing. They found the gear and took off with it. Whats my approach to get this gear back? Do I need to take a trespassing charge or what?

I am curious what sort of vertical or almost vertical drop you need before you can start flying a birdsuit. What is your glide ratio at different delays and when does it reach full glide. Maybe a chart or some kind of graph, like a freefall table, would be good. I know a lot of this is going to depend upon the experience level and type of suit being flown, lets use averages on the conservative side. How does one make a decision if a object is jumpable or not. I know you cant just drop a rock and say "looks good to me". What about the talus and other terrain further down the mountian? Does anyone use topographical maps and the calculated glide ratios to find possible sites?

Nah....Just get a couple more skydives then borrow a friends bird suit and jump it off a tower. More delay=more safe. You will be just fine.

I just received my gear and have worked on my packing a lot. I've watched all the videos about BASE that I could possibly find online or purchase. I have talked to people on the DZ forum and BASE board. I have a 600-700ft antenna down the road from my house and have always wanted to jump it. The landing area is clear for miles and the winds have been great all week. My friend says I should try his wingsuit off it. How much drive do you think I can get with the suit before pull time?

On sunpaths web sight it says the reserve size of an NJ is 120 and smaller. In paragear it says a pd126 will work. Is this true? I jut purchased a pd126 an now I see this. WHats the deal?

I was just woundering what type of sunglasses people wear skydiving. Is there a company that make them especially for skydiving. I have some oakleys, but how would I keep them on in freefall?

Has anyone ever jumped a Nova by glide path international? What are they like? How does it perform? How many jumps should you have before you jump on (150lb on a 150 canopy)
