how will this keep US dollars out of mideast hands? don't these companies all buy from the mideast? Isn't the price of gas set by the commodities markets? there's only one way to do it: use less gasoline (& other petroleum products) overall.

Just wanted to present a list of gas stations that we as Americans could choose to use to keep our US Dollars out of Mideast hands. Sunco Conoco Sinclair BP/Phillips Hess ARCO Maverick Flying J Valero Murphy Oil USA (Wal-Mart) I'm going to start paying attention to this list of gas stations. I understand what is happening in Israel, as for as ancestral homeland, and separate state. If one were to compare the two would Serb's be like the Palestinians? This goes beyond CCW. According to the new article the father, after dropping the kids off, went back to "hunt" down the guy who rammed him with the car. Something about he was crouching in a yard to take a shot at the other guy. Now that strikes me as unlawful. Perhaps the father was resorting back to when he was a corrections officer, and believed he was justified by his actions. I believe he should have been arrested and should loose his CCW permit due to his actions of "hunting down the guy". He could have found the guy and relayed that info to the police so the other could have been arrested, not open fire.

In response to the question: Where can I keep my weapons? I have no info on this case against the teacher nor do I have an opinion, or tring to defend him. (disclamer) I just completed a CCW cource. One question I asked was a school zone extends 1000 ft beyond school property, and if I lived next to a school can I have a gun in my home? The answer was yes. If I have a gun in my car can I drive down a road in front of a school? The answer was yes. I also asked if I could drive up under the canopy to pick up my kids? The answer was yes. I asked if I had to park and go in to the school and left my gun in my car? The answer was yes. Your car is an extention of your home regardless of where it is parked! You can legaly have a gun in you car parked in the lot of Churchs, court buildings, government buildings, airport lots, and school parking lots. If any of these have any rules (not laws) prohibiting it then they are in violation of my rights. It might take a Philly laywer to handle the case but it could even be a civil rights case! YMMV.

Start with a Russian made they are better that any other. There are a world of after market parts. I would like to build one but I still building my AR. I also was led to believe that an AK had to have atleast 4 American made parts. Etc.. Stock, sights, mag..... Do you know if there any truth to that? I have been kinda wondering about this for sometime. Everone here knows that we all toast deceased jumpers, some will chant BSBD. Do pilots have that kind of brother hood? I'm thinking about the 9 jumpers in the C208 crash and the 1 pilot. Most pilots I have come across are jumpers, and are part of the culture at the DZ. I would consider a pilot that flys at my DZ to be one of us. But I was wondering about the rest of the piloting community. : Do the gun lovers think that school massacres are just an unfortunate price that has to be paid so that they can keep their guns? And also.... Most states do not have any registration system, and there is no registration system federally. In WA I can legally buy or sell guns through the newspaper with no paperwork or traceability. as long as it's not a business. A business would require a federal license. Fed license holders are required to have buyers fill out a form, which the are not supposed to keep beyond a certain time. After that purchase the guy can do pretty much anything with the gun as long as the state allows it.

For overall concealability, power, ergonomics, the Springfield XD is my personal favorite, hands down and will be now my primary carry pistol. I guess I will have to start reloading 9mm now.

That gun is a wonderful piece of engineering! I've crossed the 9mm off my "to buy after vet bills are paid" list and replaced it with the .40. It's a little more expensive to practice with, but the extra firepower is probably worth it. Opinions?

Three nights ago a local gun and tackel was robbed after hours. 20 something hand guns were stolen along with several shotguns. That same night about 1am a 24 hour dinner was robbed by 4 indviduals armed with shotguns and handguns. They managed to steal $5000. They knew the dinner had video poker machines and kept cash to pay out lucky patrons. They made their get away with a stolen truck that was later recovered near the interstate with the engine still running. The owner of the truck was questioned and ofcourse had nothing to do with it. The gun store owner would like to see the guns recovered and take "off the streets". The dinner owner was glad no one was hurt. Why do you think they used stolen guns? So no one could trace the Serial#, or balistics if someone was killed perhaps? Why do you think thay used a stolen car? So Cops could not trace the car to them? Why do you think they chose a 24 hour dinner and hit it at 1am? Maybe because they knew it had money to pay out the gamblers? "They cassed the Joint". If.......... Some one were killed, and they stilled managed to make a "clean get away", how could you trace the crime to them? Law abiding citizens have regestered guns, that can be traced to them! Cops do not have the fire power to fight a well armed perp! Governers and Senators keep making these Gun laws that only punish the law abiding citizens of this great America! In the USA we have the right to bear arms, but only as long as were kept at bay and have a held hand! Screwthat I want a fully auto AR-15 and to hell all thoes tree huggers if they don't understand why. Those waitresses at that dinner had never commited a crime, they did nothing to provoke having a shotgun pointed at them, but yet the criminals in this country are better armed that the law abiding citizens.
