  1. Thanks for pointing out our shortcomings here Tonto.....we really appreciate the advice as well. I just hope that next time we have an embarrassing revelation that we can make it ourselves! We are very upset to hear that John's suit is too small - but they are made to "fit" well and obviously his just fitted more than a little too well! We are talking to John and hope to sort it all out very soon and address whatever caused the problem in the first place. All our work comes with a full money-back guarantee. John's suit was the second production model to leave here and we hope that by the time we get to making your demo we have sorted all these problems out. As far as experience goes.... I think Maria's 20 years in fashion and tailoring stand her in good stead. We are looking for a press officer if you happen to be in the market for a new job....

    GS1 info

this has already been discussed here http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1761481#1761481 We will be making an announcement soon, we have engaged a new test pilot and we're busy finalising contracts etc, our focus for next three months however is not development but production!

    GS1 info

To answer the rig box / rig size question.... see attached diagram with dimensions of the rig box. Access to the hackey was foremost in the design of this feature
  4. methylated spirits - not sure if its called that elsewhere...(white spirits?) takes grass stains off most fabrics - I don't know how it would affect a coated fabric though. I usually use a disposable wipe to apply it - and a gentle wash with soap afterwards.
  5. Regardless of our commitment to performance and design aesthetics - SAFETY is the bedrock of ALL our design decisions. and this is what Jules - who tests our suits had to say to the same question the other day: "Hello all, jules b here, It's quite simple. I have about 6 prototypes, all with the deep deflectors at the back. I have no problems at pull time. If the suit is made for YOU, and you tell us what size canopies you are jumping, it gets made to order. don't freak out people, it's all good. Fly nice everyone and dont forget to breathe."
  6. we will be releasing important features of the GS1 in the next couple of days.... theres a good reason it's called a SYSTEM.... Thanks Tom - high end sounds like a compliment!
  7. thanks - still a long way to go (with the site) but at least the suit is ready!
  8. Give us a day or two and we will have all the info up on the website - still a lot more to come... we set today as our deadline to go live - ready or not! Still lots more pis to come, close-ups of the suit, etc more info, prices....
  9. The website will only be live on thursday, and all the changes, features, options, and lots more pics will be revealed then. I see that you will be flying Paul's SugarGlider at Skyfest (I hope it fits you!) have a blast! I know the pic is very small (that was deliberate) but see if you can spot a major change....

  12. The SugarGlider has always been a custom built suit and with the new production model we will continue custom building each and every suit. As far as the handle issue is concerned - I know that has been SO solved. (a big part of the "issue" of course is that there are very few suits around and people have been trying out suits that are not made to fit them!) The design team has come up with a great adaptable solution they are calling the wishbone - apparently you put it wherever you wish and - hey presto! - no more handle swallowing, no matter what rig you are using. As for the rest of the new suit... all will be revealed soon. I can't wait...
