I'm seriously offended by the lack of respect you are showing to stay at home moms and dads. I am a woman, who after working 12 hr days for 7 years, decided to stay at home and raise my child. Raising a child 24/7 is more physically and emotionally taxing than my career ever was. I do it because I believe my child is benefiting from having his mother there. I gave up my career and financial independence because I was willing to make that sacrifice for my child. Going to work would be much easier. You say you would love to make enough for your wife to stay home? Why would she want to with your attitude? I would suggest you become a parent before running your mouth about those who are. I think you'll start singing a different song. Guess what Scoop? I'm a "FULL-TIME MOM" and proud of it.

*** Where have all the gentlemen gone? Sometimes I think they've been chased away. I may be a little old fashioned,but I love it when a man holds the door for me, lets me get on the elevator first,or helps me change my flat tire. I think it's great,but I know of so many men who have tried to behave like this only to be told "Back off,it's not 1950 I can do this myself" How many men are going to keep trying after being told that? If women still want men to be gentlemen then let them be gentlemen. Smile when a strange man holds the door for you, let the man pay for the date. I'm sure most men would'nt mind. It's not an insult to your independence or equality, it's a way of showing respect to a lady. Don't hate me girls,but I think the "lack of" gentlemen is partially our fault.

I agree with you,but I do have some friends in committed relationships that keep everything seperate. They want their privacy and independence and would be just as upset over their s.o reading their mail as they would a random friend. They would consider it to be an invasion of privacy. It would be what I would want,but it seems to work for some.

It depends on who is reading it. My former roomate used to go through my mail and it drove me nuts. I don't share everything with all of my friends, so if I wanted them to know something I would have already told them. On the other hand, if my husband ever read my mail it would'nt bother me in the least because I already share everything with him and include him in all aspects of my life. After having a friend do it to me I just find it annoying,but I guess some people are just nosy and have to know everything.

I had this happen once to my arm.My doctor said it could have something to do with blood circulation but to give it a few days.It went away and I've never had it happen again. I hope you feel better!
