  1. Way to go Deland! You guys just hit the Jackpot with Hybrid. These guys are bad ass. Somebody say what's up to Mick and Will for me. Joe. P.S. Where are all of the Florida VFS teams??? "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
  2. I find that suprising. With the way you guys fly I figure you would need all the help you can get just to hold on to eachother. "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
  3. For years I use to fly with rag tag home made pants and shirts. They worked great but last year when I joined a team and decided to get serious about VFS I went out and bought a top of the line "VRW Suit". Although I love the suit, I pretty much have no use for the grippers. Two seasons of training and I don't recall anybody actually using one of my grippers to take a dock. Of the two different teams I've trained on I'm the only one that has had grippers. I know that Mandrin has them and I've seen them used in certain points but I don't believe Arsenal even has grippers on their current suits. They look a little goofy and have not been used, if I could go back I would pass on the grippers. 5. Yeah, I was pretty shocked too. I figured if anybody could do it Nick could. He says he just needs to do a little more streching before attempting it again. "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
  6. X you missed it. Last weekend Nick attempted the gallon of beer in an hour challenge. He failed at about the 53:00 mark, puking in Thor's daughters sandcastle bucket next to the pool. He only had about a can of beer left to finish at that point. I had never seen Nick Blacksher puke before and, although inspiring, it was no where near as impressive as yours! 7. If you have 5 jump tickets and Jimmy Coiner has 5 jump tickets, Jimmy Coiner is about to make 10 jumps. "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
  8. You guys better be careful flippin crap to Jimmy Coiner. He wears cowboy boots made from real cowboys and he will not be disrespected! Feel free to make fun of Norris as much as you want. "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
  9. Joel, I doubt PD will have any Navigators for you to demo. To quote from another post, Yar, ya manta lub'n belly flyer![/pirate voice] Hey Frank, if I'm coming back how much food am I going to get with my registration? What kind? And more importantly, what kind of beer will we be drinking? Have you come up with any type of encouragement to get people playing the naked Twister or Luau? "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
  10. Is Jimmy Coiner allowed to jump on an all womens load? "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
  11. Nobody is going to buy the cow if you keep giving the milk away for free, Derek! "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
  12. I'll make you a deal, if you come to the boogie not only can you have a copy but if I will cast you in the video with a one legged midget. Now all we have to do is cut one of Frank's legs off, but we'll figure that out when we get there. Are you a pitcher or a catcher? "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
  13. How you gonna have my baby, when you never jump with me? If you want to join the ranks of Chris Leech thats fine with me. I'd do ya! Only catch, Chazi has to video, she's kinky like that. 14. For $28 dollars I'd expect a bigger picture! "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
  15. 40 Dollars!! Price gouger. Jump tickets or anything on the line to do the Naked Twister. Its gonna take quite a bit more than free beer to get me up there. I'm going to guess that Joel X will be the leader of the pirates on Friday night, who's going to lead the Ninja's. Jen? Which way are you swinging Frankie? "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
  16. It was an attempted blindman. Luckily it hurt my pride a lot more than it hurt my body. "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
  17. Show'n off for the camera. Yea, bitches!! "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
  18. I play on rare occasions. Nothing impressive, I'm usually pretty stoked if I break 100. Got a little scramble with the co-workers this weekend but I'm mostly looking forward to the beer. "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
  19. Wow. I just heard the news. So sad. Frank, you were an interesting guy with a story for every occasion. I'm glad I was able to get to know you a bit over the last two years. You will be missed. BSBD. "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
  20. HAHAHA....that is going to be awesome. Thanks for the info Jamie. "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
  21. Clicky: Redemption Boogie "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
  22. BIG NEWS: I was going to attach a boogie flyer on here with my original post but didn't because it said "Free Coaching". I called Frank to let him know that he had a typo on his flyer, and he said that some of the tunnel coaches from Denver are coming down to promote the tunnel and will be doing FREE COACHING. I'm not sure how the details will work but I can assure you that their availible time will fill up quickly so you might want to get there early....like Wensday. That is pretty cool. I also know that registration will be $35 TH/FR, $30 SA, $15 SU, $25 Whuffo anytime. I know that gets you free beer and meals, Frank will have to chime in with what else is included. Sandy, it is plenty hot already but I'll take the summers down here over the winters back home any year. Blue Ones, Joe. "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
  23. The time has come once again for Nebraska to redeem itself from its suckiness. I'm missing the ol' crew, and need to meet the new crew. Who all is going to be around? Here is what I know so far: July 17-20 Twin Otter Free Organizing Killer BBQ Jimmy Coiner (who clogs the toilet when he pees) Lots of Beer Crazy Parties (Pirates and Ninja's this year) This Boogie is my favorite time of the year. Centrally located so every jumper between Chicago and Denver should be there. "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
  24. Fixed it for you! I went straight to FF off of student status and never looked back. I could probably count the number of belly jumps I have on two hands. (11) That said there have been plenty of times when I wished that I had ironed out my FS skills a little better. You don't have to commit to a disciple at this stage, just don't turn down an opportunity to go have a fun jump with one of your buds just because you're devoting every jump to getting good at FS. You've come this far, spent god knows how much money, with the hope of having a good time. I say, do whatever the hell you want as your primary concern should be getting your moneys worth. (DZ.com disclaimer: your primary concern should be saftey, followed by paying for coaching, then having fun) Besides, people that spend to much time on their belly start to have delusions that its actually fun, and/or challenging, and they end up never coming over to the dark side. "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
  25. Congratulations. I was a dope rope baby myself a couple of hours north of you in Nebraska. My first 10 second delay was a major turning point for me as well. I would probably fail to acurately describe what it was in me that changed in those 10 seconds but 10 years later I can still remember that jump and I still get that eerie rush back in my blood when I think about it. Stick with it man, the jumps will only continue to get better. "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
