  3. I have been checking into buying a military rig and was wondering how difficult it would be to find replacement parts such as chutes, d-bags and other parts that might need replacement. The rig is a MC5 halo rig and I would appreceiate any feed back on this subject. THANKS STEP OUT AND FEEL THE RUSH!!!! LATER SKYBOMB

My instructor says that my form out of the plan and motions are great and that my canopy control is fantastic but I just can't seem to get my hand on the practice throw out . Any one here have any suggestions on some sort of practice that I can do on the ground to get the hang of it. I did manage to nail my landing this time and land on my feet. anyway I would appreciate any help you can give me, because I am hooked. Thanks bigfall STEP OUT AND FEEL THE RUSH!!!! LATER SKYBOMB

I am so disapointed I went out to the DZ this sunday hoping to get in a couple of jumps and the wind was to high for students again. I'm running out of time soon it will be to cold here. I'm thinking of going south for a couple of jumps this winter does anybody have any good suggestions of what would be a good DZ somewhere down around Florida because I want to look into a couple of rig manufactures and maybe take a tour of the PD plant. I went to DZ with sort of a problem being a bit on the larger size. I work construction and weight lift so my weight was to high for student chutes, most people would have just said no but the staff at Wayne County DZ were great Jamie and Amy worked things out with one of the instructors and two weeks later I am taking my class for static line and have made 2 jumps and have plans to get my license in the spring. If there were a award for the greatest peaple and DZ they would get my vote. GREAT PEAPLE ARE HARD TO FIND. A+++++

  16. Hello Lucie813 my name is bigfall it really is hard to discribe the feeling when you go out the door, I however have only made 2 solo static line jumps the weather seems to be against me for making anymore jumps. this past weekend I was suppost to make 3 more jumps but the wind was to high for solo students. If you think that tandum is great just wait until you solo the feeling of freedom and power is undescribable.I don't know how old you are but I started late and would not stop now if you offered me a million dollars. 19. Hello everybody I cant even begin to explain the feeling that I got when the jump master gave me the thumbs up and out the door I went. I just did my first two jumps about four weeks ago, I had to go IAD because of my size and one of my instructors was nice enough to help me out and convert one of his tandum rigs so I could do static line jumps. I am scheduled to take three more jumps this saturday and I cant wait. JUMPERS AWAY THANKS,BIGFALL STEP OUT AND FEEL THE RUSH!!!! LATER SKYBOMB

  22. I have recently completed my first two static line jumps and am scheduled two make two more on the weekend of October 8th. My problem is that I am a construction worker and a former weight lifter so I am on the rather large size which is my problem stems from. I have been taking my classes at Wayne County airport in richmond Ohio and one of the instructors had a chute that was for tandum jumping and was able to convert it for a single jumper to make their static line jumps for the first five jumps after that I needed to buy my own rig to complete the course and get my A class license. My question is where can I go to find information or even a rig that I can use to finish the most exciting thing that I have ever done.
