  3. Hi, i'm kinda new to this forum, i've been skydiving for almost a year and I just wanted to announce that I just got my solo liscence. This weekend I'll be jumping my own gear for the first time. I am so excited, just wanted to share.***Free bird Forever
  4. Don't get me wrong, I get worried when I think about the danger's of the sport. It's never once stoped me from getting on the plane or quitting the sport. I'm just getting my solo liscence now, but when I started to freefall, i'd always come down completely out of breath. I thought maybe I had my mouth open or something, but my instructors told me that you get that from anxiety, not being used to it or something. We'll it passed. I love this sport, I know i'll never stop learninig something new, therefore the anxiety will probably show it's face again.Free bird Forever
  5. That cought my attention. Sounds like a great rig for base. Just out of curiosity, How much $$$ for one of those. I'm kinda new to the sport. So, I was wondering how much is a base rig in general?***Free bird Forever
  6. I know i'm quite the newbe with only 30 jumps but I just passed my solo and every weekend i'm on the DZ. I love this sport and I am working hard to get good at it. There are alot of helpful people with good tips on the DZ and on this site. My main goal when I started was to get the skydiving experience so that I could base jump. I still want to base jump but I definitely will stay current with my skydiving.***Free bird Forever
  7. If you watch king of the hill then i'm guessing you like THE SIMPSONS, did you see the intro where the simpson familly floats down in parrachutes? Everyone accept Homer, he fell right through the floor in front of the couch.***Free bird Forever
  8. Wow, that was an awesome video, it got me so stoked. I think my boss thinks i'm crazy. Incredible footage. I can't wait til i'm there. Luv it***Free bird Forever
  9. I understand that it might be a small chute for my first one but I am confident that it will work for me and it means I won't have to buy another one so soon. This size is sufficient for a while. My slider is callapsable but what is a slider pocket?***Free bird Forever
  10. Well I know it's a small chute for my first one but it's over my weight and I jumped a 150 triatholon last week and I landing it perfectly, I think that helped alot. Thanks for the info, if it does open too hard i'll see about making alterations.***Free bird Forever
