I however have no business skydiving into a tight landing area in the dark with 100+ pounds of drugs strapped to me. I would much rather do it in a legal way. Also did you drive from boogie to boogie or what? That is something I would actually consider. With the way things are going at the moment I am working 2 whuffo jobs and only getting in like 2 jumps on sunday since I jump at a small cessna DZ. At that rate getting enough jumps for my tandem rating is years away. If this is still possible is there a packing concession that travels the boogie circuit? Greenie in training.

I don't have those responsibilities and it is very alluring to me. I personally think I would be very happy just barely paying the bills and living on ramen and cheap beer if my job was skydiving. That being said if in a few years when I get enough jumps for my tandem rating I will be trying to do just that. If it doesn't work out I can always get another real job. At the very least I will eventually do it durring the summers. It is all a matter of how you feel about it. If you love skydiving that much and are willing to live like that then go for it. I will help answer you. It is definately possible to cutaway once you get the experience to do so. Do you consider packing for a living cutting away? If so you could easily do that right now. I would recomend checking here. Being a tandem instructor or videographer at a large DZ could certainly be a full time job. That being said you won't get rich doing it. Greenie in training.

The only question is how do you count tandems? 2 jumps, 3 with video, or just 1? Same for AFF. when you need 8 (or 15, or just 3) to get the plane up, every slot counts! If there are 3 people on the plane facilitating a tandem and they all exit they are all skydiving correct? If you follow that logic yes you count them all. Each of them has a paid slot on the load. IMO, I would only count returning jumpers. Tandems and AFF students not fill the plane? If they make a skydive they are a jumper even if only once. Greenie in training.

Smartest marketing move I've ever seen!! They were just starting to go nationwide and needed some help... Those ad's gave them a TON of extra exposer on other TV and radio shows. Now whether they meant to have such an obnoxious commercial that everybody hated and would talk about, I don't know.....but it worked!! Didn't work for me. I actually made it a point to go to subway instead of quizno's after seeing that commercial. Greenie in training.
