How long can/do you leave ZP mains packed before opening them and repacking them? The reason for the question is, that the one of the reasons for reserves being made out of f111 fabric is that it doesnt stick to its self when packed for long periods of time.

My helmet came off the other week in freefall cos i forgot to do the chin strap up "doh". And when i told my mum she asked why i didnt check it on every jump, and i said i do normally, but i ALWAYS check my chest strap and leg straps before boarding and exit on EVERY jump. So does it matter which 1 you fasten first?

that good then im due a reserve repack so i will pack a lineover and lend my rig to my friend. hey presto free repack i know it sounds a bit harsh but £35.00 is a lot of money (2 jumps)

what about when you lend a friend your rig and he/she has a mal and loses your main whoo pay for the lost main and repack?

good point darren but i have turned too low on jump #13 but i was on a nav 260 then and i only bruised my ass (it hurt like hell though) but lesson learned that day. but waether i have 70, 200 or 3000 jumps behind me if i turn too low or hit an obstacle then i will get hurt.

to answer some of your questions i have 10 jumps on this canopy 2 of which were in nil winds all landed in PLA all standing up the previos canopy i was jumping was a very old 210 f111 and the landings on that were a lot harder than on the sabre. also i have got ch1 and ch2 (UK) although ive received no formal canopy training. thanks for any input.

imy wing loading on a sabre 170 is 1.26 with 70 jumps is that too high? btw i fly very conservatly and i have stood up every landing since jump #5

ive just started to do a few RW jumps and my biggest problem is, when i do a 360o turn i am about 5-6 ft away from my jump partner. i am turning by lifting a shoulder and dropping a knee, my turns are quick and controlled and i start and stop them on heading but they are a little wide any tips?
