  1. Haha she said she will watch me land, but thats understandable I guess, darn oh well Im going alone. I live in New york City I dont think we have any wind tunnels around here?
  2. This thanksgiving its my best friends birthday, and normally I take her to sixflags for oct or something or buy her a cd, but this year I was thinking about what I got for my birthday. What I got was my first tandem jump for free and boy was it the best gift ever. So I wondering would this be a good gift, I have known her for seven years and its kinda exspensive about $170 the whole deal. Now I asked her if she would go and she said she might not want to jump, should I try and convince her? I think she will like it but what stops her is that stigma to the whole jumping out of a good airplane etc. P.s she has never even gone on an airplane let alone jump out of one hmmm, and she weighs 225lbds is that too heavy to jump? we are suppose to go this weekend, nice weather say 72 degs shouldent be too bad in the air.By the way anyone know the temp diffrence and how it works?
  3. Im new to the sport and im just trying to find out what is the average price for gear, I hear sky diving is somewhat exspensive but then I hear that for some its not too bad? I dunno and I dont know where to look for gear at.
  4. I’m in New York City, my first jump was at "Freefall Adventures" in South New Jersey, close to P.A. Um I thought it was pretty cool there, I heard Saratoga Springs NY has a nice drop zone? I am planning to go the first sun in Nov. It’s kind of cold out right now, say 45-50degs, so up there it has to be breezy? Um hope it’s not too cold on that Nov day im hoping we luck out and get a nice 60deg day, it happens sometimes. So what should I expect up there? A couple more turns? I think the first time we left we flipped out the plane, but it was more like a falling upside-down and then we leveled out, not a full 360.
  5. When I jumped I had no time to think, We kneeled over and the guy I was attached to said "On Three" I said ok rocked to the side once and then "Two" And next thing I knew we already had dispatched from the airplane and I saw the light for a moment, but then it was so much fun.
  6. I recently went sky diving for my 20th B-day, and had an amazing time. I love the rush of things like that, and I plan to go again very soon. However I was just wondering what should I expect on my second tandem jump? I heard they do get more advanced every time you go. I’m not sure if personal certification is imminent in my future, but I just need to take one step at a time or jump at a time. P.S Sky diving must be a rich mans sport because it cost so much money, right or wrong?
  7. He def was coming in with his legs too far apart, and I guess the force of the landing knocked him down and he F*ed up his leg, Ouch!
