  1. I see your time out is over and you still have not learned a damn thing. Keep implicating innocent people, the list gets longer each day, and few, are well funded and irritated enough now. At least you not pretending about "TOG" any more, since you let that cat out of the bag. But do try and act your age here, OK? No more childish name calling and temper tantrums. Stick to REAL, provable, verifiable facts, any thing else; is either theory or lies, you choose which category you want your fable to be listed as.. 2. So, NOW, we accept these web pages info as fact? I thought when I introduced this info it was not to be taken as fact, because nothing on the internet is real? I am so confused! History is fake, the web is not real, or is history true and the web is real and we are all fake? Copper is laughing his ass off in Mexico, enjoying a cold one. 8. If you Volunteer, before getting Drafted, you stand a better chance of getting a "Good job" and not having to be exposed to deadly direct fire. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

  11. Can you re-post the evidence of his WWII Paratrooper training/unit of assignment please? I can't seem to find it. Thank You, Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

  13. "Jefferson" is a Prison, yes? Those records are not compatible with Military Service Records, but I imagine a daily log of accountability is kept some where with the Prisoner Conduct reports. But I have never been in a prison, so wouldn't know for fact. Military Training is on the Service Members Discharge papers (today called a DD214, you may remember the discussion about this previously) If Duane had Military Parachute Training, it would be annotated on that discharge paperwork. Well any suspect for that matter. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
  14. The Current PDT is in Normandy making a series of jumps right now, but the AAS Might still be able to get in the Pre-Ranger Bunker and find the pics they still have. If there are locals (to Fort Campbell) that want to help find them, they can TRY calling the School Commander and then mention the Campbell and National Skydiving museums as a good place for those items to go. I have in the past, but with OPTEMPO being the way it is I don't think any action was taken. COL Reed, INFCDR here, may still be able to "push" a bit on the Clubs former patron behalf, if this is wanted. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

  16. True, not an hour by hour report, not unless there is a note he is in "X school", then you would have to look at the Schools daily training schedule. It is daily report, so you can track everyone's whereabouts every 24 hours. Then add Travel orders for Schools, TDY, Unit business, leave, etc, one can make a pretty good time line of a persons whereabouts. Of course after discharge, this starts to be harder, as daily reports slowly get lost, disposed of, and misplaced, as storage space is a premium. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. 17. Blevins surely knows the military do NOT keep logs. Tracing his rank, grade, locations and recognitions will be readily available, but that is about all. Interesting. My 21 years of actual service seems to match Blevins version of accountability formations and reports better than the others. Maybe things changed, but daily reports are kept today, and have been since I joined. Even My MACVSOG Uncle says it was this way when he served, so that goes back to '62 for the Army. The report was basic, "110 assigned, 110 Present" If there was a difference then that would be annotated. "110 assigned, 105 Present. 2 Sick Bay, 2 TDY, 1 Awol" Then those NAMES would be listed "Sick Bay-Jones, Smith. TDY- Martin, Jones, A. AWOL-Johnson since 12 May 71" Maybe the Folks who don't remember this are not putting the "Morning Report" and Morning Formation together. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. 18. Most of the Clubs pics are gone now. MWR made no provisions for storage. We got a few shipped to the PDT, but when we went to Iraq, our facility was boxed up and then the building leveled. Many of our pics went in to the old Pre-Ranger bunker, and sadly I did not see them when I came back. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

  20. He got your buttons pretty good - I find it funny that comic relief like Shah gets your blood boiling to an obvious banning content post but clear bigots like DreamDancer that take their biases like religion get free pass on a daily basis - of course, DD isn't here anymore DD is here, new name, same "shtick". 22. "My mind is the weapon, my body, is but one tool" This thread speaks of when we need to use a particular type of tool. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
  23. It is indeed a national disgrace that teachers are so poorly compensated in most US cities. You could argue that most jobs are "poorly compensated". The bottom line is most have been taking pay cuts and these teachers are getting a raise but because it isn't ig enough to them they strike. Who is greedy in this situation? You might want to read a less biased source than NR Online. The big disagreement is not about pay. The Chicago Tribune has more reliable information. On NPR the lady who is the Spokesperson for the Union said, on pay they see eye to eye, on the Health Benefits and retirement, they do not (City wants to provide less $ for the same coverage and ask the Teachers to help pay?) and this is the reason for the strike. 24. Aside from the Right to do so, I carry concealed to and from work. TN has an Armed Guard License but is kind of sketchy on getting the fire arm to and from work. In the past if one did not have a CCW Permit, even when fully dressed in a uniform and going on shift, a Armed Guard could get pulled over (speeding or what ever) and arrested for a weapons charge, if the LEO saw it (only aware of three cases in the last four years in this area). It also makes things a little easier when transporting weapons to and from Ranges, hunting areas, training classes, etc. I also tend to be on location in some "rough" neighborhoods, one right behind our studio even, with near a million dollars of production gear on hand, theft has happened, even had a Camera Van Car jacked in front of the crew. Since being issued the CCW, and working as a Guard, I have not drawn it for work, or personal protection (one occasion Metro PD said I would have been justified in a shoot though, I used persuasion in stead, witnessed by the same LEO). I think on location being openly armed and identified as such has kept a few folks from crossing that line. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
