  1. Im looking for a video and i cant find it anywhere online. It's called 'Reaper Cam'. I bought it online at least 7 years ago and lost it and i'd love another copy. It has great footage and a really good soundtrack. I know how the title sounds but no one dies in this video, i promise:) If anyone knows where i can get another copy, let me know. I appreciate it! Blue skies and be safe out there
  2. i've made about 130 jumps this year. most months i was able to make at least 30 jumps--- except jan. i made ZERO and july i made only 6. on a side note: i'll be at your dz in oct. i hope i get to jump with ya!
  3. i agree with you on the shredded wheat! i think the frosting and junk just ruin it. but my absolute favorite is rice crispie treats cereal-- but so many stores don't carry it
  4. confidence, an open mind, and a sense of humor. the male ego-- sometimes i find it so sexy, other times just frustrating
  5. i never picked on anyone and i always root for the underdog because i'm very good at putting myself in others' shoes
  6. i think too much about the past--- loved ones i've lost or mistakes i've made. i need to think more about the future and how awesome it can be
  7. "fearlessly the idiot faced the crowd..... smiling"
  8. she asked you to be maid of HONOR and you should consider it as that-- an honor. it's one of the biggest events in her life and she wants you to be such a huge part of it-- don't let her down. not only does she want you there, she most likely NEEDS you there. help to make this occasion as perfect as she's always dreamed and hoped it would be. besides, it's an airshow. you're not even gonna be jumping. if there was jumping involved, well, now that would be a whole other story
  9. for my friend's 100th we did a hoop jump-- lots of fun!
  10. i started almost 2 years ago when i turned 25-- i wish i would've started 7 years sooner. but the average age of the experienced jumpers at my dz is around 40 (yeah, a guy actually got out a pen and paper and figured it out a couple months ago... on a weather hold with not much else to do)
  11. hey-- i did reply to you first before i highjacked the thread (actually lance did) although my words of wisdom turned out to be not too wise. but i do stand by the fall rate adjustment technique i was taught. you may want to do a solo jump and just practice tucking your arms while bending your legs, then flare out of it, then tuck your arms and bend your legs, then flare out of it, etc. etc. as often as your altitude will allow. you can even the hear the wind sound change each time as your speed increases and then again when it decreases-- it's pretty cool!
  12. hey lance! i will be there this weekend and i definitely want to practice more. i'm looking forward to it
