PD Challenge boogie and swoop comps and parties at Sebastian this year.

Last year tents filled the campsite with not an inch to spare.... This year there will be additional tenting area comprising of a nice large area surrounded by trees. It is also located on the dz. You do not need to pre book tent space. But you will need to pre register to take part in the canopy camp with the PDFT slots are limited. Pre registration will be up soon i will post the details as soon as i can. See you in Sebastian, spread the word!!

No just meet the requirements............. We will have plenty of Instructors at this boogie that can give you the test should you want it. IE An A license holder with 120 jumps of course you can jump the chopper....

I hope they do not portray him as the first person either. That honor goes to Rickster Powell who has done it many times before..... On a Stiletto. Its on the movie Travelling which i think is over 10 years old but he was doing it well before that.

Skills camp registration will be up online soon, there will be a website , you can pay by CC online and choose your day?days. we are working hard on that right now but we hope to be finished very soon. If you do all 3 days of the course they will carry on with you where they left of, the first day will be group stuff im sure then catered individually, . Camping is free on the Dz and they have good showers and stuff, the boogie last year had about 30 people in tents so you wont be alone. This year we have an extra camping field. You can also stay at the sandrift super cheap motel but not so nice. The skills camp will fill up quick as there are limited slots and its so cheap. You can sign up with Freefall adventures 856 629 7553. This camp is followed by a womans swoop comp. intermediate comp and pro swoop comp on the beach. See PD Challenge for more details. Although this Camp is at Sebastian dropzone skydive crosskeys are the organizers.

Registration is almost up online, you can also call Skydive Crosskeys office 856 629 7553 they can register you. Im pretty sure the online registrtion will be up and running by wednesday this week.

HELICOPTER JUMPS To jump the chopper you must meet B license requirements.

CK1 are organizing for the crosskeys Invasion in Sebastian Florida a big boogie with 3 aircraft and a helicopter. December 28th-january 10th. See www.skydivecrosskeys.com for more info.

It is a C license minimum for the beach jumps. You can check out the beach location by clicking onto www.skydiveseb.com they got some great pics and video of the beach from their labor day boogie.

Camping is free at this event we have 2 campsites on the dz that we are using. Also an onsite cafe which will be open early to late, showers(very nice actually) For more accomodation you can visit the skydive sebastian web site we have a deal with the best western for $89 per night so if you call them quote this event.

Hey Everybody The New years boogie at Sebastian this year i believe will proove to be the biggest event in florida. So far planned we have. CK1 FREEFLY TEAM load organising for 2 weeks. RW organising also for 2 weeks Evening tunnel time for anyone that wants it. We also have a special event that right now is top secret and i cannot let the cat out of the bag just yet but stay posted all you swoopers out there. Expect event details within the next couple of days!!!!!! This is part of the Crosskeys Invasion at Skydive Sebastian.

Al from the PD Tour made an impromptu stop at Crosskeys and is offering Free PD reserve demo's today and tomorrow(Wednesday and Thursday). If you haven't had the opportunity to try out your reserve or are considering downsizing reserves, this is a great opportunity to test one out!!!

Good job Yonatan for not being anonymous and saying what you feel. I agree with what you write about Jackos abilities he is a good all round skydiver. I always hear TI's talking about the slipping student harnesses.

Jacko is a sdu coach!At the coach courses at crosskeys we also used him as an evaluator. The sdu website is often out of date, i know first hand as my listing on there is also completely wrong. I have been on staff at Crosskeys since 2002 and i havent even made the staff page yet!!! Kimberley Worthington SDU campus director DeLand campus 2001-2003 Crosskeys campus 2003 onwards. Jacko is a great Instructor ....I think this whole thread has got out of hand.

Oh my!!! What a wonderful boogie this is going to be.. There is going to be organising for all skill levels so no matter what your experience level someone will hook you up. Dave brown rocks always entertaining and ready to jump. Im also looking forward to doing an intentional skyhook cutaway.

I have been jumping with a micron for about 3 years and I have to say I believe it is the best rig on the market today. The micron is custom made so it fits to perfection. This is the only container I have had where I can fly in confidence knowing all of my flaps are going to stay in place. (A must for freeflyers) I have currently put around 3000+ jumps on my micron and it still looks great with no wear and tear. I am going to keep jumping a micron as long as they continue doing business and am looking forward to whatever innovative invention Bill Boothe next comes up with. I am looking forward to recieving my new Ouragan collection rig with the skyhook system on it. if in doubt about ordering this container just go ahead and call the factory,the customer service you recieve is the best even after you get your rig. All my students jump Vector....All my student are very happy. Thanks relative workshop for being the leaders in container design.
