  1. Maybe you can get him to say F**K really loud. I want to see his head explode! Peter REALLY pisses him off (no pun intended, I just saw that)... Peter, if you're really bored, lets play 'name that restaurant'. Whats the one across from Bar 9 where we met the school teachers?~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  2. What area of writing are you experienced in? It seems you have the start but haven't laid out your synopsis nor beats. Try writing the end then developing how they got there. I want to know whats the end run of it? Just someone (the woman) who befriended the guy with the heart problem, who died in jail, to fulfill a dream of flying free with his childhood buddy?. That will be $5K. Now YOU tell me why she's in love with the jailbird. Was she helping steal the tv? I see more of getting a serious beating for trying to steal from a construction site. Maybe they are ALL friends, then she gets away free, and they bond on the run. No military. Think Thelma and Louise. Thelma and Joe. That will be $10K. Okay..so, Thelma and Joe are on the run and Thelma smells like gas and there was a cctv in the construction site and a partially burned tape. Joe feels bad and... ...that will be $15K. ...most of writing reflects your own life. Is your name Joe? ...now you need to get on the couch. That will be $20k. $25k if you want me to keep Turtlespeed from getting on it WITH you.
  3. OMG...I cleaned out my keyboard Friday...and lost 2 keys in the process, soaked the keys in a bowl of alcohol and THEN threw it in the tub. ...strung it up over the shower rod and my son got mad that tossed it in the garbage bin. ....so...now I have HIS keyboard and I have to give it back before he comes home from work and I drop something funky in it... ...wait...I'm using a 20 year old's keyboard and I'M waiting for something funky to happen? See yas later. Gotta wash my hands!~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  4. What's a Scouser??? I'm just getting the meaning of 'slag' (nasty!!) but I do what wa Crumpet is. Now explain the rest of that stuff to us, poor 'Mericans'~~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  5. I have a drawing of Spiderman that my son did when he was about 7 or 8...I keep it in my desk drawer and I show it to anyone that gets near that desk. I love it. I bought him a Spiderman plastic bank and he loves it. He's a big man now (yeah, right) but he's still my baby and we know how to *get* each other. I love Spide3rman though him and he knows I love candles. Moms don't throw out their kids stuff, thats just the ay it is. return the favor!~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  6. Go to her place and offer to do lawn work/clean house/or make her dinner. Sounds right...I'd appreciate that, and I'd even MAKE dinner for my kids that show up. I'm a Mom and *I* didn't realize its Mothers Day (weekend) till my sister called and tied to make a date with me. But I'll get my kids, I need new flooring and thats what I had them for...tee-hee... If you can, show up and just hang out and be nice. Do some work then do something that reminds Mom of why you don't live there anymore. Eat in the living room and take your shoes off and place you stinky feet on the coffee table. Bring her some $5 flowers..the most simplest thing that will remind her that you're her child.
  7. Whatever. My point is that you're being a tad ghoulish. And dead men tell no 'facts' as you put them. People go to jail and serve their time, in a case like this, the past doesn't matter because they 3 guys in the car felt THEIR lives were in danger by a gang of about 15 guys (only 3 went to trial) of guys who were in the bar earlier...drinking. You're looking at the 'spin' and continuing it. don't you have something else to do besides dig up 'facts' on this? ...and for you to say earlier that had they STAYED their whole terms 'this wouldn't have happened'. Yeah, and no other patrons would have gotten shot after leaving that strip club. . It could have happened to someone ELSE. It was over anxious to say the least and reckless nonetheless. Is it because they had criminal records that makes you feel its justified? What if they didn't? Then where would you stand? Never mind, you're in your element! But I'm done. Have fun with your fact finding.~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  8. Serving less than 4 years for possession of a firearm, drug sales, drug possession and armed robbery does not redeem these boyscouts. They did not serve the full extent of their sentence. They were REPEAT OFFENDERS who were paroled way too early. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So what you're saying here is that the system is too lenient? Maybe judges can fuck up? MAYBE because they were 1st, 2nd, or 3rd offenses they were released WITH GOOD BEHAVIOR....sorry if that doesn't fit into your scheme of things, but the legal system doesn't really care what YOU think. ..and you really should stop tying to bury a guy thats already dead..its tacky and makes you look as if you're on a holier than thou mission. I'm sure you stole pretzel money in the 3rd grade; lied on a good friend, acted like you were someone else...something. In other words...lay off..get a life..let the case stay where it is already. As you suggested to me, why don't YOU get involved..go out and protest and hold up a 'they were not Boy Scouts' sign and stop reading blogs. Sharpton will be glad to see you and good luck. Just don't speed....~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  9. Good...now go sit out by the mailbox. Something ELSE is coming. Stay there till the postman flips that red flag! I believe in birthdays that last a month!!! Whooo hoooo!!!~~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  10. That's odd. A judge didn't seem to have the same findings as you. 3 officers were found not guilty. Did you try their case in different court? In this different court that where their case was held, were you the judge of that court that found them guilty of killing a man? No one in this world has a right to kill anyone, cops or any LEO. In this case, judge cooperman found that they had every right according to their sop to continue shooting until the threat was eliminated. Judge cooperman didn't concentrate on an invisible gun. That night good ol' boyscout sean decided to use his car as a deadly weapon. What you seem to regard as an EXCUSE, a competent judge found them not guilty of all charges. I have a question for you. Why are you hell bent on trying someone who's been tried and served their time? Sean Bell was never tried for using his car as a weapon. He was busy being dead. What IS your major fascination with this? Have you ever been locked up? I hope you haven't, because that means (according to your posts) that you will never be redeemed. I'm going to the Life Store. Want me to pick something up for you?~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  11. Boom boom...boom boom...he's in your hommmmmmme state... Yes, he is very funny and on spot with the above mentioned observations. It is sad and ironic that a white man killed his only son. As far as afrocentric names go, it began as a search for identity, picked up by the uneducated. I've run into a woman named Aquanetta; know of someone who named her kids L'mongello and O'rongello (thats lemon jello and orange jello, dummy!) I thank my mother for giving us names that could get us an interview--I made sure I did the same for MY children. No convicts in my family, but I was allowed by law to whoop ass when they didn't do what they should. Have you heard about Cosby and Camille beating their kids, well, they did and he joked about it many times. My mom was old school (we grew up in Brooklyn and I think they named the Belt Parkway after her) you looked at a grownup sideways and said something smart, that grownup would beat your a$$, then take you home and you'd get another from your mom, then Dad came home and...lets put it like this, you did what you were told without question. Maybe if parents were allowed to have more hands on parenting, there wouldn't be so many 18 year old boys with memorials on every other street corner. When I was 18 you came home at 11 or you didn't come HOME. There was no Ritalin--you paid attention or you were got hit in the head and wished you had some Ritalin, so you paid attention the best you could. We went to Church and said 'please' and 'thank you'. When little kids ask me for something I ask them 'whats the magic word'. They know it, nobody makes them SAY it. Screw it. I'm at the age where I have to make sure everyone in my neighborhood knows me cause if I'm coming home after 11 I want someone on MY side...at least as a witness!~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  12. I serve on a Board of Directors that acts closely in concert with the Department of Parks, 3 police precincts (I attend their monthly meetings), know and meet with the Community Board directors, the Senators and Assemblymen here, so don't ask what I do for my community I don't sit on my ass and read blogs. EVER. I actually TALK to the people who are involved or are afraid they WILL become involved in such an incident, take their concerns to the people who can actually DO something about and and articulate it to them. I'm not trying to stand in the street and go to jail. I'd be better served doing things my way. The real outrage here is NOT the verdict. What you are responding to is what the media is feeding you. The real fear and outrage here is that it happened in the first place. There is no surprise in the verdict to a thinking person. A trial can go either way, based on the evidence presented. A lot of people lied on the stand and the judge dealt with what he had been presented with. What were they doing in a titty bar? They are grown men. Thats who they MAKE titty bars for and if it was illegal, why wasn't it shut down? There were a LOT of people in there that night. Should they be shot upon leaving? By the way, there are bag and coat searches before you go into those clubs. Nobody is supposed to get in with a weapon (the cops did). So seeing there was no gun in the car, there was NO FUCKING GUN. Forget the car as a weapon, if I was surrounded by a gang of guys holding guns I'd try to get out too. I'm not coming out and talk to them. Quoting 'even' a black person said ________ is ridiculous. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and would that stand out more to you if an Asian person said something? Lets get real. I, too, HAVE to believe in the justice system because thats all we have. I just don't want to be on the wrong side of it and please don't ever assume what actions a person takes because they aren't out in the street promoting civil disobedience. There are intelligent and civil ways of getting things done and thats the path I chose. I refuse to let the media or some blog sway what I have to do.~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  13. You're spending way too much time Monday morning quarterbacking, which I believe you accused someone else of earlier in this thread. To bring up Judge Cooperman's remarks on the 'witnesses' is a little too late as far as I'm concerned. You obviously don't live in a big city; certainly not NYC. After 9/11 there was a desperate need for police recruits and with gentrification going on all over the city, 'Justice for All' became 'Everybody off the Strets'. you can sell liquor to patrons, cops and priests till 4 am but how do these people get home??? I'm going to ignore that you're so gung ho that the cops fel there was a threat against them by a passenger in the backseat and a 'reputation' of these young men in the neighborhood (how would the rookie shooter know that and just 'know' he had a gun and aim it at the cops? He wasn't a 'cop killer'..' Nevertheless. ...lets get back to the title of the thread. There is no 'outrage'. The city is hurting, but this is not the jungle. There are more undercover cops in these marches than church goers and agnostic tax payers (Sharptons target audience and the media frenzy is just ridiculous. What happened to the men in the car is tragic, I will not deny it and I do believe them innocent and just trying to get home. If the club in question practiced prostitution and sold illegal drugs, pull their liquor license. Pull their Dancing license. Where are the freaking protocols??? I could run this city better than its been running and I don't believe in the word 'alleged'. you did it or I thought you did it and if I'm in control you're closed. How about search warrants for the business in question and not bothering the patrons? How about going in and searching the place instead of going in on early Sunday morning and blocking off the driveway? (Question..when you party with your friends does your CD player come on (or the radio?) can you hear someone say 'police, pull over?) Its bullshit..we know its hunting season and the summer is just going to get worse because we don't have well trained police (I DID laugh at the thought of having a bag of skittles can have you shot 51 times...true..I'm scared to pull out my wallet now). But who is truly the arm chair quarterback. You are defending whole heartedly something you don't know anything about. My point is the city is not in 'outrage'. We're trying to understand. Understanding goes both ways.~~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  14. Wow, that's pretty intelligent of you to add that. Thank you. We are all enlightened by such words of wisdom. I bet you and most of the other cop haters here, whom become victims of a crime(s), will be one of the first people to call the cops. I don't see where that is a less intelligent statement as bringing up someone's criminal past. It would seem prejudgemental (sp) to say that these guys were hard core because they did their time for something prior. The cops can't look at me and tell if I have a previous record and if I just have to be in the wrong car at the wrong time and I get hurt by a cop, does that give him the right to bring up something I did 20 years ago (no, I did nothing 20 years ago, but I'm using speculation, which a lot of is going on here)~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  15. Hell, I support the verdict just because the wonderful Rev. Sharpton is involved in this fiasco. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So you're happy to see Sharpton up in arms about unarmed people being shot at? And no, we're not rioting in the streets. We live and work here. This is our home. If people want to protest there is a right to. Sharpton doesn't lead anything but his sheep and if that wakes up a few people (someone else said blame whitey), then fine, lets all wake UP. This is not a racial issue. This is a police training issue. These guys are supposed to be professionals and if they wanted to bust a strip bar for possible prostitution, why mess with a car of young men pulling out? I know about as much as my dog about guns, but I know a vehicle doesn't need 51 shots unloaded. My ex used to take me target shooting and I have a pretty good idea of what it takes to drop a magazine and put in a new one. How's about ducking behind that big van they said Bell hit while they figured out if they were shooting back? A bullet went into the elevated subway 2 blocks away (its on film) and sent passengers scurrying. Nice work, stupid cops. But its all good cause you can look at Sharpton calling for some sense of justice. If HE is misguided, where do you stand on a statement like that?~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!

...cause she got high..cause she got Hiiiii..cause she got high...da dee dah dahhh da dah. How do you tarnish a show with Polar Bears on an pacific island? gimme a break. I watched the show tonight...and it was COLD..but, didn't Ben help Sayid when he was sick? Ben became a doctor after they got off the island (last season, I think right before the mystery funeral). So we have to look forward to the demise of Claire, why Hurely is important (crazy and hallucinating is a PLUS? Jack's drug problem seems to have started right there and I do NOT think its his appendix...Kate changed her method of acting, I don't know WHAT that was about. ...and why do they have to discuss much? Shoot Ben right there, right now and END it. I'm going to go to Thanatos' house..and bring Bigway. We'll have popcorn and cookies and drinks and watch LOST and American Idol. I like looking at pecs and even Anna Lucia has some nice arms going on. Then we'll look at AI and stare at Thano's weird sense of 'bangable' contestants...~~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!

  21. I guess she just made bottom two but I was even surprised at that! I thought she did a bang out job. I love dredlock boy just from 70's week (Halleluliah) was awesome but I just couldn't get into him in Memory. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ He tore that song UP. I'm STILL crying. I skipped it this week, but my favorite year was Ruben and Clay..Jay Leno called it the Battle of the Sexes....tee-hee!~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  22. But if you cut down a tree and a tree hugger isn't there to yell at you..did you REALLY do anything? You are right..the earth doesn't need us, we need IT and its the nature and destiny of every species to die. Moses had good rules, but what I've always gathered from it is to just try to be nice and not bust anyone in the head with a hatchet (or burn trees for fun).
  23. One of them is about 5 years older than me...an avid runner and health nut. Now she can't walk and has to have testing done and is constant pain. she was telling me this and I understood, but I told her: I told you a YEAR ago to sit down...have a drink and a ciggie and eat some friggin' CAKE already. This may not be pc..but I'd rather have cake and die at 75 than deny myself cake and live till 80. By then I won't have any teeth left ANYWAY...so eat cake and enjoy the time you have.~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  24. In Canada, we have braille-like markings on the corners of our paper money... In Europe, they have different sized bills for each denomination. Pssssh! In NYC they don't even have a decent popcorn sideway on the subway..you know the yellow railis thing for the blind? We kinda sorta hang out and see who's about to fall over. some of us help but you're on your own here. Sucks.~~April Time for the Federal Reserve to catch up with the Joneses Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  25. Now you're talking..can you go back out today and get me one too??? You wouldn't believe I'm on the Board of Directors for a Parks foundation... ...wait...maybe we can save some trees and just burn some tree huggers? (okay..so I'm not right...) Dr Phil says 'do you want to be right or do you want to be happy?? Guess where I'm going?) ~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
