  6. Katie Naomi WOW some not so cool news when I heard it from Lew this weekend when I was talking to her for the first time i a while, my heart goes out to you gurls and of course Brookes family as well, I still remember sitting on the couch at Lews place shooting the shit about medical crap with Brooke and discussing how many skydivers we have both looked after. Brooke was a sweetheart my deepest thoughts to you Brooke xx Dan Whitman Ottawa Ontario Canada REMEMBER! If your not living on the edge..... your taking up too much space!
  7. I had some problems recently with my HC 5 shutting of on jump run (this only happens in the Cessna.....never on a turbine!!!!!!! Weird??? YES! Well one of my buddies told me that I am hitting my head on the door on the way out of the plane, because of the on off switch is so sensative and exposed on top that seems to be the problem. I have seen a couple of comments on air exposed to the wind might be causing problems by getting into the side ports (where the LANC is) What I did was took my dremel to the door and split it right behind the LANC and now have a spiit door and can attach my Cameye and close the rest up to avoid moisture from getting in and avoiding any issues, hope this helps. 8. Has anyone heard of or had a problem with the HC5 randomly shutting down in freefall or on exit??? I have had this happen now on 3 skydives the last time was today, i was doing a hanging exit and the camera cycled off on its own, WTF!!!!!!!!! I know I had to cam on when i climbed out because you can see the student in the door and then it shuts off! Battery power was fine, it was hooked to a cameye and the rec button didnt touch anything, (cessna hanging exit) this is the 3 time it has happened I will be taking it back to the sony store but any help here would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys Dan REMEMBER! If your not living on the edge..... your taking up too much space!

  12. TUNNEL TUNNEL TUNNEL This is where you need to get it my friend, Take your whole team one weekend and split an hour in there (with a coach) this way you will all see each other and learn the same ways of maintaining fall rates etc etc. This is the best thing you can do and the best thing about it is you dont have to worry about saving your life! and you get immediate feed back from your coach, and you can still learn from your friends while they are in the tunnel. Good luck REMEMBER! If your not living on the edge..... your taking up too much space!

  14. This DZ is a great place to learn how to skydive and last year they added Tandem and PFF in addition to the IAD program. If you interested in Skydiving in the Ottawa area this is the place to go!
