  2. Hey, everyone. I just got back from Lake Wales and it was a blast. I only got footage from my wingsuit flocks. B.T.W. thanx Perry, Scott C., Chris W., Scotty B., Matt, Elis, Ivan, Jeff, Jairo, and a bunch more that I can't remember off the top of my head. And congrats to all the new birds that hatched from the boogie, (the only name that I can remember is Mark's), welcome to the flock. As for non-bird footage, only Eric provided me with a full one hour tape. I haven't seen it yet but I'm sure that it is good stuff. One thing that I would need from you (flockers and others involved in the videos) is your real full name and your DZ.com name. The sooner I get this from you guys, the sooner the DZ.com video will be ready and posted at skydivingmovies.com. Anyways, I will keep you all posted. Thank you everyone that made this possible and thanx to all the staff. You were all awsome. P.S. Keila. I hope you get better soon. 3. Hey guys, I'm going to try to collect boogie footage (all kinds but especially wingsuit stuff) to add to mine. If I get enough decent footage, I will put something nice together on DVD. To do this, I'm postponing my current project, Z-Flock (Called "Dreams of Icarus" some of you might have seen some of it @ skydivingmovies.com). You will have credit for it and will get a copy before everyone else. I'll try to figure out a way to ditribute it when done. I don't know, maybe this could be like the unofficial Dropzone.com 4th of July Boogie video.I think this is something some of you may like. What do guys you think of this? 7. Man, I was there for the first time last Sunday and me and my fellow z-flockers Scotty and Jeff (and the "lets pull high and watch the birds flocking by us" jumpers, Mark and Joe) had a BLAST!! All the locals were very friendly and hospitable (Thanks for the warm welcome and all the cold beers). I am so glad I decided to go because I was planning on just going on Saturday, but after my experience there, I'll be there for the whole weekend. Here are a few more to add to the list (BTW I will register either over the phone during the week or as soon as I get there). 8. What are you talking about? We really flew back into the plane. I guess we just gave the ending away. Anyways. Cool! I guess it worked how I had hoped it would. I busted out laughing too when I read your reaction. I didn't really want to fill out this one with a bunch of effects because I just wanted people to really appreciate the flying without being distracted with other fancy crap. P.S. I'm working on the footage we got last weekend. It will be online soon. Blue Skies... ...and Big Fat Clouds WINGSUIT ACROBATICS team O zone ZF#5 , HISPA#70 Blue Skies... ...Big Fat Clouds
  9. OK flockers, here is an update: 1) Z-Flock & Dock 2005 (The 2005 Z-Flock & Dock Event) 2) Z-Flock 01 (Just some Z-Flockers having fun) 3) Z-Flock 02 Big Fat Clouds (Z-Flockers cloud surfing) WINGSUIT ACROBATICS team O zone ZF#5 , HISPA#70 Blue Skies... ...Big Fat Clouds

  11. "Ok, you talked me into it. You had me at WS. Cya tomorrey. EDIT: In Reply To Dude, you should come! And you had me at dude. Cya dudarinos manana" Yeah baby! Thats what I'm talking about! WINGSUIT ACROBATICS team O zone ZF#5 , HISPA#70 Blue Skies... ...Big Fat Clouds
  12. "The siren kind of sound right after.."I guess, I didn't...." in the voice matches the swoop exactly. I don't know if you matched it Omar but that was neat. Kris."----- Yeah in my early edit your swoop matched the siren, but as I contined it was getting harder and harder to have every thing in sync so I tried the next best thing. It's much easier to syncronize video with shorter songs, but like I said before, I'm still learning. ----"Matt ... Me, Chris and my new WS flyer Mike will certainly be there. Omar said he might show too. It should be a sweet cloud day!" Correction: Omar WILL be there. Early too. WINGSUIT ACROBATICS team O zone ZF#5 , HISPA#70 Blue Skies... ...Big Fat Clouds
  13. Dude, you should come! There is going to be ubout 8 or 10 of us, some of them new flockers!, and the wheather is supposed to be nice. Besides, who knows how the weather is going to be like in the next coming weekends. There is no better time than know. That's what I always say. I tell you what; if you "do something stupid at the DZ and sprain an ankle or something", I'll do something supid like drive over there and help you move. That's how much I want to flock with as many birds as possible. WINGSUIT ACROBATICS team O zone ZF#5 , HISPA#70 Blue Skies... ...Big Fat Clouds
  14. Sweet! I didn't know that was you Kris. Two of my favorite scenes are your swoop and Matt's, that's why I didn't edit them out, and believe me, I was really hard to decide what stayed and what went in order to keep the video small enough to download. By the way I am downloading your version as we speak. Can't wait to see it. "Pause the video at 1:15 and enjoy a treat!!" HA HA LOL. So you noticed it! Hey Lou, I've downloaded some of your work into my WS VDO collection quite some time ago, and I was very impressed (I still am). That was when I first started flying WS and I didn't even owned a camera. And I thought to my self "Wow! I wanna do that" (do WS videos). So you see, you are one of a few who unknowingly got me into this and I just started, so got a lot to learn. So your compliment means a lot to me, Thanks man. Of course everyone has given me good feed back on this and that's pretty cool. I hope it doesn't go to my head (oh oh , I think it just did). Oh cool, Matt's video is done downloading. I'm goin to watch it now. Talk to you guys later. PS Matt, when are you coming down to Z-Hills? We're getting some nice cumulus cloud formations here. (some video of that comming soon, by the way). Anyways, see you guys. Blue skies (and big fat clouds) WINGSUIT ACROBATICS team O zone ZF#5 , HISPA#70 Blue Skies... ...Big Fat Clouds
  15. Hey wassup! Cool! Just so you know, I also made a re-edit of Z-Flock & Dock (Z-Flock & Dock.wmv) it's about 7 and a half minutes long, and a little over 20mb. I haven't posted the skydivng movies.com release because I just uploaded it this mornig, but it might be there by now. I forgot my login password and I'm at Z-Hills right now, so I'm not sure if it's released yet. I've been working on it for the past week. It was a pain in the ass to edit 30 minutes of footage into 7 minutes. I'm looking forward to checking yours out when I get home tonight I'm sure it's cool. 16. Thanx. I'm glad you guys liked it. I'm working on the 2005 Z-Flock & Dock, but it might be a little long. WINGSUIT ACROBATICS team O zone ZF#5 , HISPA#70 Blue Skies... ...Big Fat Clouds

  18. I have never posted on any of the forums here. I just come here once in a while to see whats going on in the skydiving community. Today, on my way home from Z-Hills, I find out about Chris' passing, from my friend Orlando Amador, and this is the time for me to post. I believe I owe it to Chris. I only met him for a few days at the Puerto Rico FreeFall Fest but I considered him a friend. He showed a whole new world for me when he took me on my first birdman flight. He told me "Get yourself a birdman suit and do as many jumps as you possibly can with it so when I see you next year, you'll be a great birdman." and thats exactly what I've been doing. Ever since then most of my dives have been birdman jumps. I just recently moved to Florida and on one of my first visits to Skydive City I saw a flyer anouncing a Memorial day boogie for the next weekend and Chris was going to be there. I was pretty stoked about that because I would get the chance to fly with him again. But the boogie was cancelled due to these stupid hurracanes passing through here. Today I made my first 3 Skyflyer dives and the first thing I thought after doing them was "man I wish Chris was here at this boogie, It would have been so much fun." I thank him for what he has done for me and others. Being the new guy at a dropzone can be a little intimidating, so I would end up going solo on my freefly dives, but every time I would put on my wingsuit, I would end up doing doing some really cool and fun dives with other birdmen that just met on the way to boarding the plane. It has been a great way to make new friends. Thank you Chris for opening so many doors for me and for giving wings to me and so many. You will be missed.
