Hi, I would like to make my own Sigma closing loops. We have the correct line (1000lb spectra) and are using the same washers that were used on our old loops. They are a simple unit but my question is; How do you get the spectra through the tiny holes? I was told by one rigger to use some hand tacking wax thread and pull it through that way but this seems impossible. There is nowhere to buy these in our country (as far as I know) and the postage on them from the US is much more than the worth of the loop. we have the equiment to make them just this process is inhibiting us from doing so. Any riggers out there with the gift of the gab?

Hi, Another member of our DZ has been banned (unsure why) and the same problem arose. I don't often post but often read as do others here we shold not be punished. Whatever reasons you have for banning users can you ensure it is not the whole DZ that suffers please, we have a dozen staff that are skydivers it is not fair to everybody.

you missed; Cyberlink Power Director realXstream and probably a few more, For mucking around we use power director, really easy and inexpensive without all the crap you don't use and we use realxstream for tandem videos as it is fully automated.

Hi, I am wondering if the links for a reserve belong to the canopy or the harness? We are swapping reserves and the system was purchased complete from Aerodyne. It has reserve soft links. Thanks in advance for any helpful reply.

Hi, I cannot access the bonfire, gear and rigging, wingsuiting, swooping and the spanish forum. Seems quite random, my husband was banned from the forums recently and I use the same computer so may have something to do with that? I am an Active PT (senior rigger) and need access to some of the information in the gear and rigging forum so can somebody please fix this. Thanks, Leigh

Realxstream is a video producing program that not only creates the video from raw footage onto a DVD, it also uploads the video to the internet and automatically sends the customer an email with a link to the video. You should check it out. Our DZ uses it and it and the uploads are very popular with the customers as they can share with thier frinds and family back home, most of our cstomers are travellers. There are many malls in chch. None are reported to be collapsed, there is one television broadcasting building that completly collapsed, with an estimated 100 people inside. I got my sigma tandem rating in the states. I had never ever had a cutaway in 6800 jumps. I asked if I needed to and they said not for a sigma rating. Since getting my tandem rating I survived 680 tandems with no chop, then changed dropzone and had three in about four months! I now have about 1600 tandems and don't mind packing for myself if I have time.
