    Crosspost?

Ok thanks, i wasn't going to, just wanted to know. BoogieBob the crosspost (maybe a different term i'm looking for) that i'm referring to wouldn't double the message it would be one thread that was accessible from wo different links Pineappe Death Juice, If you have to ask you'd rather not know!
  2. If the ceremony isn't going to be one of those ultra long 3 hour ones then it probably wouldn't hurt to go. when i was younger i never wanted to go to the ceremonies, but lately i find them nice, for one thing most of the people getting married are the people i grew up with cousins and friends etc.. also you never know what quirky things' might happen on the altar. Crosspost?

Is it possible to make a post a crosspost. IE it shows up in 2 different channels but is just 1 post in the end? Pineappe Death Juice, If you have to ask you'd rather not know!
  4. So you are teaching new kid to pack on your rig (cause it's smaller) so she can get her A lic finished. At what point would you pull it out and do it over. When: Pineappe Death Juice, If you have to ask you'd rather not know!
  5. Amen to that. Think i'll go snag one now as a matter of fact Pineappe Death Juice, If you have to ask you'd rather not know!
  6. Newscaster experience ehhh, maybe you could take over for the idiot at RealTV and actually make things better. I mean they can't get any worse,... can they? Pineappe Death Juice, If you have to ask you'd rather not know!
  7. Scary, another PhD is let loose Congratz though, it'll definetly look nice hanging on the wall above your rig Pineappe Death Juice, If you have to ask you'd rather not know!
  8. Hey Kelly, I heard an interesting fact the other day. The easiest way to get an annoying song that is stuck in your head out is to find an even more annoying song, like say M I C... K E Y .... M O U S E Micky Mouse, ...... Mickey Mouse Actually they say if you sing the song all the way though you 'cure' that need to sing it, try it you'll be surprised. 9. Sooooo Bored. i've gotta wait for some friends to finish school work but then we're off to orlando for a little tunnel fun and some warmer weather. Now just got to figure out where to go jump tomorrow.... hmmm Pineappe Death Juice, If you have to ask you'd rather not know!
  10. One of the easiest ways to backup our stuff is to buy an external hardrive. They have them at compusa bestbuy etc on sale every now and then for $100-200. Usb, firewire whatever you have. If you don't want to go that route you can split your current hardrive so it looks like 2. Partition magic is probably one of the simplest programs for this. BUt if you said you were having to replace your hardrive every couple of months then the external is probably the way to go. Sorry you lost all your stuff. 11. Thats great. What are you going to use for the main? Pancakes Pineappe Death Juice, If you have to ask you'd rather not know!

    Grrr....

Quick call Homeland security, tell them you're under attack from an unknown enemy who's ammunition is multiplying at an explosive rate. :) . Hmm i wonder what would happen if you actually did call Pineappe Death Juice, If you have to ask you'd rather not know!
  13. Tell him to get as many as they will let him. The ones you like you keep, the other can become ebay fodder or you can tape over them and stock your collection with porn (taken from sunshine's idea) that is convenientlyhidden on realistic looking tapes Pineappe Death Juice, If you have to ask you'd rather not know!
  14. Guess it's time to go relax with a little freefall. Hmm anyone else have a hankering for a cheeseburger right about now Pineappe Death Juice, If you have to ask you'd rather not know!
  15. I know it'll make a hell of a pickup trick. Casually forget to have a cute tandem hooked up and woops there they go. Thank the TM before you go superman, don't worry i got you... so are you free for dinner Pineappe Death Juice, If you have to ask you'd rather not know!
  16. ---------------------------- We spent two hours making sure we'd gone over everything with a fine tooth comb before he even showed up ---------------------------- It's always better to be too cautious then not cautious enough. I'm glad to hear that everything went well. Pineappe Death Juice, If you have to ask you'd rather not know!
  17. Of course you can always let them dry inside your house/apt It'll make for a more interesting evening. Like everyone has said; A nice layer of shoe goo will protect your investment from the normal wear and tear you'll encounter. Also your finger is one of the best application 'tools' to use. also makes for a little after fun pealing the remnants off while you watch tv or so. 18. These are the type of people that definitely make the sport better. A couple of months back we had an 89 (or at least very close to that) year old woman come out to our dz and do a tandem. Everyone was extra cautious, but she was a trooper. From her reaction you'd have sworn she was a giddy teenager. When asked if she'd go again she said in a heart beat. 19. Has anyone else seen it yet? Aside from the fact that i think it's absolutely hilarious , did anyone else scratch their head when the guy said 90 second freefall from 12k? Pineappe Death Juice, If you have to ask you'd rather not know!
  20. I've always wanted to feel what is was like to fly, control your body against the wind, soar up high and watch everything with a surreal detachment. I had quite a few plane trips (at least 1 a year) while growing up to go see family and such. And i would always want the window seat (unless i got a ride up front in the cockpit). The feeling was always quite different everytime. Then freshman year in college a bunch of us got together and went and did tandems. Well like putting fuel on the fire I was hooked. I bided my time waiting for the right opportunity and finally this summer it came, i had enough money to go through aff w/ my college club. And man i haven't missed a heartbeat since. standing in the door at 14k just watching everything so far away and then pooof there goes the plane and it's just you. Everything that you do from this point to the moment your feet touch will have some result. It is a new experience every time. i sometimes wonder will i grow out of it, is this just a phase, and then the smell of Jet A hits me at the end of a 20min call and it hits me again, how could i grow out of this. 21. Regi Yup, thats about right. i weigh in at a measly 135 the gear is about 25lbs so thats barely over 1.0. although i will be getting a weight belt soon which will probably put me up around 1.1.. Paige Thinking about it now i'd have to retract my previous statement. They do seem to be wrong more often than right. sundevil777 When i found the rig for sale i immediately started liquidating all my previous hobbies that seemed to be sitting around doing nothing. R/C Heli, old books, etc. anything to raise the money. It's amazing how little you can survive on if you really want to Pineappe Death Juice, If you have to ask you'd rather not know!
  22. Thanks, The weather this past weekend was pretty good, it got a little cloudy sunday but not too bad. Unfortunately the forecase for the rest of the week doesn't look to be anything but wet :( but just have to wait and see. You know how these weather forecasters are spmetimes wrong. Pineappe Death Juice, If you have to ask you'd rather not know!
  23. So i finally own my own gear. I got a Javelin J1 with a sabre 150 main, pd143 reserve, and a nice new bev suit to match (i actually found the rig after i ordered the suit, talk about luck). It's a different feeling walking into the DZ and not having to worry about if you're competing with someone else for the same rig. Pineappe Death Juice, If you have to ask you'd rather not know!
  24. There is nothing on guinessworldrecords.com about the fastest, but i remember seeing a show on the discovery channel a little while back about these freeflyers that had head down competitions to see who could go the fastest. If i remember correctly the club record was somewhere between 302 - 312mph. Pineappe Death Juice, If you have to ask you'd rather not know!
  25. Pinch me i'm dreaming... OUCH not really. ------------------------------- you'd be able to major in skydiving ------------------------------- Hehe that would probably be that best 'schooling' I ever had. Get paid to learn to jump or so Pineappe Death Juice, If you have to ask you'd rather not know!
