I have a Viso and it works great and have never had any problem with it. I would say i would like another mounting method but no problems with working. I use a ProTrack and ProDytter on helmet and the Viso for visual. For the 1,000' climp the Dytters go off at the same time and the Viso is right on with them. In freefall, the Viso is deadon with the Dytters. The only thing I see is the max speed is a few MPH off compared to the Protrack, but that is from burbles. HELLFISH 429 POPS 11113

Yesterday when this thread came out I was really pissed off and did not agree with anything anyone had to say. I Did not like the way it was put out and the way smokers where shit on. I still hate the fact when people force opinions on me no matter what what it is about. I hate when I get told not to do something and I wish that people whould just fuck off and go get fucked in the ass, maybe they will lay off of people. Before you guys get all huffy on me I wanted to say that I have been smoking for 22 years about 1 pack a day. I have 2 kids 10 and 11 years old been married for 13 years and have my own business. I have been very fortunate to have everything I need and to have a family who care about me. Since eeneR posted this I have been thinking about it and how pissed off I was and ask myself why? Most likely because they are right & I was wrong. I decided to quit smoking as of today so I can see my kids grow up and be able to retire healthy and live my days with my wife at my side. I will try my best and I hope I can do it. I would like to thank eeneR and appoligize at the same time. My answer was to save his life. He started out correctly by asking the manufacturer. When he didn't get the answer he wanted, he started fishing here in this Forum for someone to tell him it was okay. He's not looking for help - he's looking for someone to validate his bad idea. I was told my Mirage that the canopy will fit and it would be loose. They told me that my container could have stretched and to try a canopy in it to make sure that it would fit properly. Sure, go ahead and ignore the manufacturer's recommendation. I was not told told it cant be used, I was told that the fit is loose and depending on the container and how much it has stretched. They say it can be put in but I would have to see how it fits mine. HELLFISH 429 POPS 11113

Thanks for all the input on this. I have been jumping a Spectre 210. I have about 300 jumps on it and tried a Sabre II 170 last weekend and found it turned faster and had better response. The landing was a bit faster but not as fast as I thought it would be. With my Spectre it feels loose and sluggish, but the Sabre was quicker and I felt that I had better control. I will be making a few more jumps and hope that all my landings where as good or better. I dont feel right about going from a 210 to a 170 but looks like the Sabre is a very good overall canopy that is very landable with a great flare. HELLFISH 429 POPS 11113

John, I think you got it right. The way it looks, all depends on how many jumps the person that I ask has. You would think, once a person gets a "D" they would be considered an intermediate jumper and should have the experience. HELLFISH 429 POPS 11113
