  1. 2nd Annual! Lots of skydiving. Organizing with Lyle Presse, Jim Harris, Will Lajeunesse, Matt Hoover. Vendors will be here. Country theme weekend. Saturday night is a catered bbq and party complete with whiskey drinking and bull riding (mechanical, of course). Check out the website to see video and photos from last year's event at www.skydiveseb.com 20 ways with Lyle and much much more. Carbone Zone will be cooking up a storm. You can register online on the website as well!
  2. More and more invaders arrive daily. They are gearing up for Pub Golf, Jello Shot Treasure Hunt and Digital Scavenger hunt contests. New Years Eve is our Slumber Party - keep the drunks off the road please! PJ's are acceptable attire at this party. Night jumps New Year's Eve must be prepaid & manifested (no refunds. If you start drinking early - that's your problem! No jump, no refund).
  3. One hour 15 minutes to Sebastian on the east coast! But take a tour. Hit a few dz's they all have their perks. Too bad you are just missing the Invasion with us and too early for the Country Jam but there will still be jumping and great views.
  4. They are coming! A couple of people have shown up early but rumor has it that a large caravan will be arriving on Monday. The ZooBar will be serving meals on Wednesday, Friday & Saturday and Christmas Evening, New Years Eve and New Years Day as well. Party for New Years, of course!
  5. Everything Remster says is true! Skydive Sebastian has rates posted on the website but we are always willing to work deals with people on a one on one basis when they are ready to commit to jumping.
  6. It only counts for firsts in jumping! - unless you are really desperate or they are a born sucker.
  7. Like finding tequila has ever been a problem in Sebastian! Although the trend has taken a definite turn towards Jagermeister.
  8. I haven't been since the first one that MonkeyClaw organized when the dz was in Humaco (or however you spell it) but I might just have to take a little vacation where I don't have to do anything but jump. Wouldn't that be cool - not having to worry about all the details and juming. I've forgotten what it feels like.
  9. Yes, we can't wait. I've got my grass skirt, coconuts and fire poi ready and waiting! Keep your eyes on the Sebastian website we'll have some updates soon on this one!
  10. Orlando is the easier airport to get to and from. Melbourne is actually the closest but it usually costs you a bit more to get into them as they are much smaller. There are a lot of Keys people coming in maybe you can coordinate and ride with some of them. It's very handy to have transportation when you are here though and rentals are pretty inexpensive in FL.
  11. Damn, I love you marksy marks! Yes, Sebastian is nice depending on what you are looking for for work though... Are you looking for dz type work or work off the dz?
  12. Pretty freaking cool, I'd say!
  13. Now, I'm really glad to have everyone coming for PyroVixen but I just keep wondering why it is that that is the particular event all the boys are able to clear their schedules for?
  14. I have to agree that Florida is the place to be. Although, I think that all the kids that are cool but don't have to run around saying that they are cool which is in effect so much cooler will be at Sebastian. The kids who have to say they are cool but aren't really so cool will all be complimenting each other on their coolness at Z-hills while we will just be cool in Sebastian! You know I'm only kidding, sort of, I mean we are cool and so are they.... anyways.... Florida East or West coast!
  15. Doesn't anyone want to come for the skydives?
  16. That's pretty good considering they've only done it two years! I believe that you were here for March Madness the year before that - I think... everything is becoming a blur. Talk about getting old!
  17. oh and did I mention besides great skydives there will be.....parties?
  18. That's right! Skydive Sebastian is being invaded (in a friendly kind of way) by CrossKeys over the holidays. Starting on December 20th through January 3rd there will be a mass exodus of jumpers already weary of the cold in the north to sunny Florida. That means lots of parties, lots of jumping, lots more parties, more jumping, a few more parties, well... you get the picture. If there is interest we will do night jumps on New Year's eve - although we will not be waiting until midnight to do them. We will keep you posted with updates.
  19. I think anytime you boys come to visit is a good time! How strange, though, that you blow us off for New Year's as usual but make time in your busy schedule for a weekend with barely dressed women....hmmm.... go figure! oh yeah, did I mention I was going to play with fire... and of course, fireworks as usual!
  20. It's getting harder! I don't have quite the same bounce while fighting nausea these days.
  21. I thought it was rather refreshing not being hung over at a boogie! I'm sure we could find someone willing to take over that job, though.
  22. Thank you everyone for coming and making it worthwhile! Saturdays winds sucked (or should I say blew) but it didn't keep everyone down and those Sunday sunset beach jumps for the diehards who stayed on were so worth it. I got on the last helicopter load to the beach and it was so damn sweet. With all the ridiculous car trouble and last minute hotel & party changes thanks to Rita or Wilma or whatever her damn name was I had some major stress but it all seemed to work in the end. I don't know how but it did and I've gotten so many happy emails that it's almost made it worth it. I promise next time I'll have the jello shots ready.
  23. I'm in the keys now, set up the tent and waiting for everyone to arrive NO skydive sebastian tickets are not valid in the keys. If anyone needs to reach me they can call on my cell ... and yes, I know normally don't put cell numbers on here but it's ok.... 772-713-8146.
  24. Oh yeah... GOOD HOT FOOD with the Carbonezone! If anyone is down there early and wants to help with the tent raising - come by and lend a hand. I'm hoping to get it done on Tuesday - if it is a disaster then it will roll over to Wednesday as well. Registrations are hot right now. Is yours in? Or have you told me you are coming?
