  1. I have quite a few friends that were happy when their mothers kicked their child-beating fathers to the curb. I would sincerely hope that that never changes. I agree. I have friends that were happy when their fathers kicked their slutty wives to the curb. never pull low......unless you are
  2. I remember watching him drawing their route in the sand. It was a pretty crude drawing, but I remember thinking that he was screwing up by doing it. I think that he got chewed out, but not much ever came of it. never pull low......unless you are
  3. I'm not saying it didn't happen, I just haven't heard of it until now. never pull low......unless you are
  4. Yeah...four months in Vietnam? He must be a fast learner to have picked up all of the experience that he's getting credit for. never pull low......unless you are
  5. Nice thread title. never pull low......unless you are
  6. Abuse of authority...check the contents not just the subject before screaming repost Uh oh....Do I smell scandal within the repost police department? never pull low......unless you are
  7. And the suggestion that Kerry is orchestrating the "war hero" stuff is substantiated? I don't see that any more substantiated than the comments of Lieutenant Colonel Karen Kwiatkowski, formerly of the Office of Special Planning, on the massaging of intel for Bush/Cheney. I'm not sure I understand what you're getting at here. I absolutely think Kerry is waving his medals around and trumpeting his military service as a means for beating his own chest. His ads say it, his campaign staff say it, and he himself brings it up at virtually every opportunity. As for whether or not he is a "war hero", that is a different question. Personally, I have a very hard time retaining respect for someone whose actions were a direct cause of harm to other war heroes who were not as fortunate as he to be out of harm's way. I have a close relative who was a POW in Vietnam, and long before this debate started, I was given firsthand accounts of the suffering that was endured by countless American heroes because of the actions of kerry and others like him. And instead of apologizing to those people who suffered because of his actions, kerry would rather point to his post-war record as an indicator of his heroism. I don't believe actions like that are indicitive of a true hero. As far as the intel question, I did not at any point in that article see any reference at all to any actions taken at the behest of President Bush himself. It provides no evidence at all that the President was even aware of what was going on in that office, and certainly fails even to begin to show that he ordered it to happen. Matt ----- Perhaps you can explain WHY Bush used the "uranium from Africa" lie in his State of the Union address AFTER having been told by the CIA that it was unfounded. That's AFTER, just in case you missed it. Bush's statements on WMDs walk, smell and quack like lies. Apparently OSP was set up to provide intel that was more to the liking of the WhiteHouse than the stuff the CIA was providing. What does your answer have to do with the fact that Kerry is strutting his "hero status" around like a rooster in a barn yard? Why does everything go back to Bush with you? never pull low......unless you are
  8. Well if they're both the same we might as well keep Bush in. never pull low......unless you are
  9. Using the "ends justify the means" argument is great when you are for the cause. You won't like it when you oppose the cause. Let government call it civil union (or whatever) for everyone and let the churches have the word marriage and 90% of the problem is solved. I do see things getting messy though. Poligamy is just one example of possible future problems. never pull low......unless you are
  10. Tell that to minorities. What others think has a lot of effect on us. It's what others think that is making this marriage thing an issue for gays. never pull low......unless you are
  11. So you want to change the definition of the word, marriage? never pull low......unless you are
  12. If people want to jump off their houses and call themselves skydivers thats fine with me. If they want to flap their arms, jump and run around their yard chirping they can go ahead and tell people they are an experienced bird man pilot. Whatever, it doesn't affect the fact that I AM a skydiver. Yes, but everyone would think that you flap your arms, jump and run around the yard chirping, when you tell people that you are a skydiver. never pull low......unless you are
  13. Siblings having sex may lead to pregnancy with developmental disorders. Gaysex can not. Sounds like prior restraint to me. What if they don't want children? never pull low......unless you are
  14. However, marriage (straight or gay) reduces promiscuity and medical expenses. I don't think that marriage reduces promiscuity. I know lots of married people that sleep with multiple partners. never pull low......unless you are
  15. Just Liberalism 101, Chris. Instead of coming up with an intelligent comment, they call names. You've probably witnessed such behavior on the playground when you were in school. never pull low......unless you are
  16. Have any proof of this? Or are you just taking a cheap shot at Fox news? never pull low......unless you are
  17. Are we afraid gays will increase the divorce rate? The divorce rate will increase. Do you think every gay that marries will stay that way? The lawyers are probably salivating over all of the additional money that they'll make. never pull low......unless you are
  18. We have a judicial system that will overturn bad laws, even if they are supported by the majority of people. Then why do you advocate the mayor of San Francisco breaking the law? Let the legal system work it out. What we have now is one person imposing his will on the nation. He's promoting your point of view so you support him. As someone else mentioned if this was about gun permits instead of marriage licenses you would oppose his methods. never pull low......unless you are
  19. I don't subscribe to the "he did it first" defense at all. As I have frequently stated, I believe that both Clinton AND Bush are proven liars, just like Johnson and Nixon before them. Kerry is a liar too. Are you voting for him? never pull low......unless you are
  20. We should have leaders that inspire us to follow them. Do you think that Kerry is an inspirational leader? never pull low......unless you are
  21. - in fact, it's mostly declared heteros who are the most severely sexually disordered. How about backing that statement up with some facts. never pull low......unless you are
  22. That's exactly what they're doing in SF...they don't have priests there, they're deputized JPs. It's just a civil ceremony anyway. They should do it within the law. I know that there are many unjust laws on the books. They should be removed or amended, but until then they are the law. never pull low......unless you are
  23. No. What about a constitutional amendment against adultery? Don't you think that damages the sanctity of marriage? Actually, I kind of agree with Benny's idea. The government can handle the legalities, call it civil union or whatever. This could apply to two people of any gender. Then if you want to get "married", go to your church. never pull low......unless you are
  24. I almost just choked. How do you think I feel everytime someone brings up Clinton to defend Bush? There it is again. edited to add: I agree that the tactic is used by both sides. never pull low......unless you are
