I have an optic as well, it's a great helmet. You can just use a drill or a roto-tool such as a dremel. I would recomend the dremel because you can use the attachments to widen holes and to cut out different shaped holes. It is important to keep all of your electronics away from the dust that is created when you do this and to thourougly clean the helmet when you are done drilling, because the carbon fiber dust can reak havoc with circut boards. I would recomend that before you start to drill that you get everything lined up. I used a lot of gaffers tape to hold my dbox where I thougt it shoud be, slaped my pc9 in and had my girfriend look through the still cam and the video to get things lined up. Take your time, the optic is too nice of a helmet to fill with unnecessary holes.
