After getting ahold of the company, and making them aware of the problems I was having, they sent me an updated side cover, and a new lens to boot! the operation of the visor is as it should be now, so I'm quite happy. The placement of the strap still has me scratching my head, but at least the thing stays on my head! Thanks to the folks at Paratec for caring, their follow up meant alot.

Would appreciate any input you experts have on this thing. I checked for it in the "Gear" section, not listed. Thanks! --------------------------------------------------------- Everyday's a holiday, every meal's a banquet!

  20. The only problem I had the day I spent there was out of the DZ's control, the weather. We jumped from 13,000, in pretty strong wind, and many clouds. The folks at the DZ were very easy to get along with, as were all the other jumpers. I plan on a return visit, hopefully to blue calm skies!
  21. Ya, try that first AFF, then a second. You'll find the second much better, as each one thereafter. --------------------------------------------------------- Everyday's a holiday, every meal's a banquet!
  22. I have family all over the U.S.. They were all so impressed when I started jumping, so I tried like hell to recruite them to the sport. I visited a bro in Dallas, and talked him into an AFF, and he loved it, as I knew he would. He continued jumping, but the sis in-law spoke against it, so he quit, that Bitch! --------------------------------------------------------- Everyday's a holiday, every meal's a banquet!
  23. I'm going to Florida next month and I thank you for your wisdom! --------------------------------------------------------- Everyday's a holiday, every meal's a banquet!
  24. I feel your pain. Since I travel in business, I get an occasional trip to a warm climate. As my frequent flier miles add up, I use them to visit warmer climates to jump. Next month I'm hitting 18,000 ft. in florida, YES!! Take advantage of the low air fares available, and put in some OT. Good luck!! --------------------------------------------------------- Everyday's a holiday, every meal's a banquet!
  25. The Sunday I was there, the DZ was a little slow, so much attention was given to the newcomer. I felt important, they went out of there way to please. The jump went well, thanks to all at Skydive New Mexico.
