  1. Hey, all you followers of the WCCP!! Let's show some frickin' love to the competitors - I see lots of 'views' but not nearly enough posts! This was an incredible event - it was intense competition - the first sanctioned worldwide event - we all followed along - LET'S SEE THE LOVE! These guys aren't getting NIKE deals here, they are working for their glory - let's show them some appreciation! And just because they don't post, don't think they don't see or hear... Jason Eames kicked ass! Luke Aikens gets big love! Yay to Hansie! The Icarus Boys - always big respect and inspiration! Andy - way talented and a cutie! The PD Boys - wow. Jim S. made it all happen! Dr. Dave - fantastic! Sonic - awesome! Tiggerrrrrr!! Let's HEAR IT! Way too quiet for such a great event.
  2. Thanks! - I know I'm a total geek but I'm SO proud of him.
  3. Are we allowed to post pics of other people we think are hot? us2 - Me and the real hottie in our house.
  4. Hi Christie, I'll let someone with more experience than me elaborate but one thing is for sure, wherever you have the knife - it should be securely fastened. I mean, it should not be attached only by the crappy little elastic band that comes with it to your leg strap. If it moves up and down the strap, or has give when you try to release the knife -it will be harder for you to get it in your hands when in an emergency. Inside the mudflap works well because in most emergency situations, that part of your rig will be accessible. Also, it is secured in place - no fumbling around if you need it. Also, I honestly believe there is not adequate training in the use of a hook knife - when it's appropriate to use one, etc. We have lots of drills on what it feels like to peel away your handles so there is muscle memory in emergency times, but who knows how much energy/effort/time is needed to cut through lines or a riser? I understand that situations where one would use a hook knife are rare - but it is one more option in emergencies where options can be critical. Just a little rant.

  7. There are 5 foot 'entry' gates at the start of each course. Some part of each competitors body must eclipse the top of the gates when entering the course or it's called a vertical extension. They are scored a 0 for that run. Most competitors try to get as close as possible to the top of those gates as it adds speed/distance to their run. Edited: Touching the ground will stop the clock - that's not a vertical - that's just the end of the run.
  8. So, for those of us in the northeast with shitty weather, Distance Results: 1. JC 2. Heath 3. Ian Verticals took out some other good runs. disclaimer: I know nothing. Action expresses priority. - Mahatma Ghandi
  9. Happily involved, empath seeks newly-formed couples to listen to, evaluate and subsequently pass final judgment on their compatibility. Action expresses priority. - Mahatma Ghandi
  10. No scores posted yet. Unoffical word is he had 3 scoring runs (no verts). (dzdotcom disclaimer: I know nothing.) Action expresses priority. - Mahatma Ghandi
  11. I'm at home for this one - On game days, I usually get end-of-day reports. Promise to forward any info as it comes in. Edit: Okay, the down and dirty... 3 plane loads per round. Started a bit late but rocked through the first two rounds. Load of 120-ways goes up between 2nd and 3rd round (!!!!!?) All but 1 load of the 3rd round done - 6 HOUR WEATHER HOLD! Last load goes up just before sunset. Most likely no scores posted until tomorrow. Perris website now has page called "standings" -not updated yet. Had they only waited 1/2 hour to put up the 120-ways, the speed comp would've finished by noon. Bummer. Action expresses priority. - Mahatma Ghandi
  12. Would your SO be upset? If so, don't do it. If not, jerk away. Does it really matter what it's called...? Action expresses priority. - Mahatma Ghandi
  13. What up, yo? Freakin' it, Philly-style? I was thinking more like: "You tricked us into thinking, meanie!" Action expresses priority. - Mahatma Ghandi
  14. If you can't get it at a local video shop (BB sucks), you can buy it online for like $10. Or get in on NetFlix. Check out some reviews - you'll see. It's really worth it.
  15. why did he even post that crap?
  16. Wait...I'm supposed to be hiding that?! Action expresses priority. - Mahatma Ghandi
  17. Oh RIGHT! Jump on board with the BIG WORD guy! Too late, you already admitted you were drunk. Action expresses priority. - Mahatma Ghandi
  18. Anger. An appropriate response to love? I guess so... Don't read the thread. Don't watch the shows. Don't participate in the discussions. No one is trying to take any rights 'away' from you. A certain portion of the population wants to be treated as human. Why would you deny them that? Why would that make you angry? Why should they just quietly go away and love who they want, be with who they want as long as YOU don't have to look at it or hear about it? Who the hell are you that you deserve more than someone else? White? Male? Hetero? You don't give a damn because the law is in your favor. Action expresses priority. - Mahatma Ghandi
  19. Nope. You can be sure. Action expresses priority. - Mahatma Ghandi
  20. I didn't mean to speak for you , Dove. Thought I was clarifying.
