What I meant was most factory type of jobs have a limit/max. per dept. for a raise. Some places the max is like .50 every 6 mths, if one got only .10 then that usually has a reflection of your work,etc.

I have gotten a few $1 increases in the past 3 yrs since I have worked here! No more big raises like that anymore But, ya think they would at least match the price of a stamp! ha ha Guess I still need to work my parttime pizza delivery job!

Just wondering what most here maximum pay raises are for 12 or 6-month reviews. I had mine today (6 mth) (was due 16 days ago) 21 cents. I believe max. is .25 Kinda happy with it too! Make a nice increase overall hourly!

I helped out at an event many years ago in Cal City Y-DIVE. 300 static-line jumps in 1 day! Gay & Lesbians from LA Center..and can say it was very different! hahaa

To sweat alot, speeds up water weight loss. Motivates one to do laundry more often, because of sweaty clothes and use more towels. Not to mention looking cool.!

Anyone else ever wear/use one? Well, I got one of these $9.00 sauna suits. And wore at the gym last night. (after over an hour of a hard combat taekwondo class, instructor was in a mood! haha) Man, did I get some double-take looks from all kinds of people there, included some of the staff! Have to say that I really felt WEIRD! haha

Oh, a good tool would be a cd player, there are some out there that are play along with, then next track with guitar part silence and you play. Learn easy stuff like 2 and 1 string blue riffs, I,IV,V patterns, vice-versa. You can learn and pick up real quick and if you play with other guitarist or someone who plays harmonica it can be really entertaining around a campfire, bbq etc.

I say do not get a cheap guitar (or one that has bad fret action)it will discourage you to play. I suggest to get a good guitar, a Baby Taylor would be nice to start with. There are so many DVD to learn from, and teach all kinds of top 10 songs,etc. , that it will be esay to copy them and learn. I myself have an Alvarez and a cheap Fender 12-string. I hate the Fender 12 string! Hard to play chords past 3rd fret..and when I play other 12-strings (lot more expensive, I can play them for hours, and any where on the neck!)

We test tools, inventions, etc, and basically ALL kinds of stuff. Really, it could a plastic cup, then next is a 400 pc tool set, or have to bulid a greenhouse, sometimes even a go-cart! Then take all kinds of measurement.. It's a really versatille job.

My Dept. interviewed a guy last week. Gave him the walk-thru, he accepts job. Started @7:00am, break at 10:00 and never came back! WOW! I guess he changed his mind about a $10 hr start job went back to un-employement check??hahah

Is there pay parking there? I took several classes in Oxnard College and they are very strict on parking, matter of fact if you don't pay (or forget about them) them they will be on your DMV renewal notices! Get one for whole semester, if there is pay parking lot. I would wish you good luck, but think you won't need "luck'.

I've started Combat TaeKwonDo and Hapkido. And have twice so far got to really punch someone.In the chest (no chest pad) while doing this 1 self-defense move, punch,they block, you sweep w/other arm, then hit right in the chest.. It was with a very good, tough fighter there and I have been hit back pretty hard too! It took a little while to really hit someone..instructor said to hit him harder!..It is a really great class. So, far just a nick on nose fromn glasses getting hit, and a toe-nail scratch on my hand. And a few various blood stains on uniform. I also held back hitting a brown belt female 1 night (she instructor helper, just couldn't go full blast on her and she was wearing chest pad.) But no black eyes! I love these classes!

I'm a sucker for all the 'magic pills' fat-burners, meta enhancers, etc. Their usually $60-85 a bottle! And none of them really work! (to me) I may get price on a case of this stuff. Since I quit drinking I have the $40 to spend.. Actually I really believe this stuff is worth the money.

Crushing ice? Could be to crush ice to place in a bag to apply to swollen ankle, etc.

Anyone tried this stuff? I bought a bottle last night $40! I've read and heard all about it from web and a few people.
