  1. That's an apology? Let me explain a few things to you. It's not what you posted dude, we can handle that, no sweat. It's the fact that you were not man enough to do it under your own name or face to face. ( obviously you prefer assumed identities and text messages) You got called on it, denied it and even wished us good luck in findng the guy that did it. Guess what, you got your wish. Andrew even called you, on the phone, you denied it again. Your only sorry of one thing, you got busted, period. Then a couple of post later you tell us how great of a freeflyer you are? So what? I don't know how good you are, I don't freefly. You could be Omar A. for all I care, skydiving skills (or lack there of, no difference) don't make up for charracter and honesty and maturity. All of which you have proven to lack plenty. You had many chances to come clean, you chose not to. Instead you chose to lie some more until it became clear, to you, that it was hopeless.. You have insulted my employer, my friends, co-workers and girlfriend. Called them pussies, fags and so on, on a public forum no less. Ever heard of the word slander? You didn't have enough spine to own those remarks, you had to use an imaginary friend, in cyber space to do it. That my friend ( figure of speech) is why people are disapointed in you, it has nothing to do with WHAT you posted. It's hard no convey tone on an internet forum but believe me, none of the above is said in anger or rage. It it said with a very calm and even voice. You have heard that voice many times. It's just the way I see it. Maybe one day you'll grow up and realize that money can't buy you respect, character and experience. You can buy lots of things, you've told us many, many times but some of the most important things in life, you have to earn the hard way. Yourself. You ask for forgiveness, those kind of thing (in my book at least) are not for the asking, they are earned. So far you have earned squat, that's way I see it. As far as I'm concerned, feel free to come back at the DZ. You won't get any grief from me, you won't get anything from me. I am not angry at you, I won't badmouth you to others either. Everybody that knows me, knows, that I give the benefit of the doubt to all. You have removed all doubt as to the kind of person you are. It's a steep climb from where you are, just to be clear. Hope you'll learn something from all of this. I shall wait and see. Your later posts in this thread are not very inspirering that you have. Glenn All of the above is my take on it, NOBODY ELSE. Not the DZ's or any other source. Those comments are mine, period. _______________________________________________ More rules is NEVER the right the answer.....

  6. Anybody can give it to me? I hace misplaced it. Thanks. _______________________________________________ More rules is NEVER the right the answer.....
  7. Seems to me your mind is already made up......... It's a Triathlon loaded at 1.1 to 1, not a X braced at 2.5 to 1 for god sakes, Just jump it already! You can kill yourself just as easily with that 155. 20 sq ft won't save your ass if you do something stupid enough to kill/seriously injure you under either. Like I said 1.1 to 1..........................it's not like your pushing it! _______________________________________________ More rules is NEVER the right the answer.....
  8. Glad to hear he got it fixed free, never had that luck on ANY of the blown up PD's(90% Sabres) I've sent back over the years(customers canopies, not all mine!). I have heard plenty of "it's packing problrem" from PD though!! Sabres never open hard when properly packed.................right? I've put 1 jump on a Sabre2 when it came out, at a boogie, got it from the PD booth, packed by a PD rep. Slammed the hell outta me. I was just trying it so I could tell customers what it was like. Guess it was a packing problem LOL _______________________________________________ More rules is NEVER the right the answer.....
  9. Students are not too keen on putting on a jumpsuit when it's 100* in the shade. I tell 'em what can happen if we biff the landing, the truth no sugar coating. Then it's up to them. I've had a few tops come loose on my students over the years, most take it in stride. Everytime it happened, I always thank hem after the jump, least I can do! 11. Been done in the early 90's by a French guy named Alain Prieur. They use 2 different plane, he was wearing a harness with riser oufitted with "B12" type quick connectors. Patrick Passe "swooped in the canopy put in a free bag type deplyoment system with two rings sticking out of the bag for the risers to attatch to. The bag was attached to his chess with a cutaway system. He would just dock on Alain, at which time Alain hooked up the riser, the bag was the release from Patrick chess and the canopu would be deployd when the bag was released. Patrick deGayardon was flying back up with a tandem rig just in case. They did this LIVE on French TV, I have a Copy of the tape. Alain was later killed while doing the stunt at an airshow. It is rumored that he did that jump 5 or 6 times. A malfonctioned canopy killed him, not failure to get it to them in freefall. 13. The pin will pull BEFORE the PC inflates on a throw out. Doesn't take that much drag at terminal velocity to pull a curved pin. At terminal velocity an unckoded PC will result in a slower but normal deployment in most cases. (sub terminal would be iffy, at best) I've tried it several times, when kill lines were the "new" thing in the early 90's and lots of rumors and myths were floating around. Both pull out's and throw out, worked everytime! I even ran into a guy at a boogie in 93 that DIDN'T know what a kill line was (he had one on his new rig) and told me that he had put 20 jumps so far on his new rig and didn't notice the difference! After I squared him away on it, he came back and said "thanks feells more positive now" People fear what they don't know and make all kind of reason why their choice is better. just doesn't work that way, Every system as it's pro's and con's, make up your own mind based on facts, not opinions.Remember when if we put students on BOC with throw out PC, we were going to kill stugents by the truck load? I have thousands of jumps on both system and I like the pull out better. I was trained on throw outs and use it for a long time, decided to give the PO a try and never looked back. Minds are like parachutes boys, they don't do you any good if they are not open. Don't knock it 'cause you don't use it, there's room for everybody Glenn Quote _______________________________________________ More rules is NEVER the right the answer.....
  14. Also keep in mind that when the pilot chute hits the air, the container is already open. making the problem of an un-cocked pc less of a problem. _______________________________________________ More rules is NEVER the right the answer.....
