  1. I'm waiting for the video of black thugs dancing in the streets in celebration. Like the way many muslims celebrated the destruction of the World Trade Center and thousands of lives on 9-11-01.
  2. Correction: We didn't start it. North Korea invaded the South, and we went to help South Korea defend themselves.
  3. We already do that kind of thing with parole boards, which release former criminals from prison back into society. They don't always get it right, but at least we recognize that some people have earned and deserve a second chance at freedom. Gun rights or any other kind of rights should be no different.
  4. Welcome. Yes, you can catch thermals, but they usually aren't strong enough to make you gain altitude. Rather, they just make you hold altitude and not descend. In other words, the uplift offsets the descent of the canopy. It really wouldn't make much of a video, because they're usually invisible and you can't see them, unless they have some dust or debris in them. A video of a parachutist in a thermal would look just like any other canopy video, except that the altimeter would not change readings much.

  6. So should Exxon/Mobil be banned from any fracking operations? Or purchasing/using any oil or gas produced by fracking? After all, their president joined a lawsuit to ban it near his home. There seems to be a propensity here to over-expand from one entity to an entire class. That's not where I'm coming from. Only the Exxon CEO should forego the benefits of fracked oil near his home, as to do otherwise would be hypocritical. Some folks like to pretend to be pro-green environmentalists, while all the time consuming oil just like everyone else. I'm just saying that if they talk the talk, they should walk the walk. And pay whatever consequences that arise from that walking.
  7. With the strike-through I added to focus your response so that it's not overly broad and stays on target, then I agree. To do otherwise, would be hypocritical. If your against something in your own neighborhood, you shouldn't patronize such things from other neighborhoods.
  8. Any state that bans fracking, should not be allowed to have any of the refined gasoline products that come from fracking elsewhere. Let 'em pay higher prices for their choice.
  9. All I saw was a British motorcycle cop nabbing people from driving while using a cell phone. Newspaper story: "How did a plumber's truck from Texas end up in the hands of Islamic fighters on the front lines of Syria? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2876735/How-plumber-s-truck-Texas-ended-hands-Islamic-fighters-lines-Syria.html
