I also liked Donnie Darko. I've been told I should check out Eraserhead, but so far haven't. Pretty much anything by David Lynch is going to be pretty odd. I still think his version of Dune is the best.

    David lynch is awesome:)

Weirdest Ive seen was a John candy flick I cant recall the name of. And a mocve called "Blood Sucking Freaks:". that was odd.

OO Also any Cronenberg flick :ph34r:

It would seem ive seen a lot of weird flicks :D:D:D

    I like weird B|

It's becoming more common because I believe people refuse to settle.
It's ok if it eliminates 99% of the men. I'm not looking for 99% but the 1 that fits me and I fit him. Yeah, I still believe in finding "the one".

Main thing is I'm enjoying life until I do.

just be aware that the RIGHT him might not actually be a skydiver but someone who is cool with you being a skydiver.

It sounds like you are seeking some one who is... mature. A skydiver who is mature... Cue the Laugh track.

Can anyone tell me a definitive rule that I can ALWAYS follow?

I, for some reason, can never remember this rule. [:/]

It makes me want to never uses any version of this word. :D

And yes, if I'm telling an untruth, it's always lying.

    I use it like this
    Im laying carpet
    Im lying on the ground

No reason or rule for me, just how i use the words

    ******Apart from all of it...

It's so dehumanising. Seriously. I just blacklist people for the most random things... Oh - that guy is wearing a hat in one of his pics... Who wears a hat??? What a pretentious douche. Blacklist that motherfucker ASAP.

    Litterally.

I would NEVER behave that way toward a person who was actually standing in front of me. I'd probably find the hat charming.

    *sigh*

That sounds more about you than "online dating"

You have litterally just proven my point. The online thing is dehumanising. I doubt you'd behave in real life to me the way you do on here.
I've proven nothing of the sort.
If you posed that initial scenario to me in person I would have said. "Nat that speaks more about you than online dating"
    literally.
Im honest in MY appraisals, most of my friends know if they ask my opinion on something I will give it honestly, consequently a few of them no longer ask my opinion, UNLESS they want honesty:D:D:D:D

Im not known for my tact.

  9. once you think you have flown your current wing to is FULL capacity and mastered ALL of the life saving skills listed., throw on a weight vest/belt and UP the wingloading for 100 jumps if you can still do all the things that you need to know to save yourself in a pressure situation, then THINK about downsizing.

Now here is the real question, what are we doing as a community to mitigate the potential consequences of those with high number of hours in the tunnel and a low experience in skydiving from making the mistakes outlined by the OP? Are we mentoring them from the beginning of AFF/STP? Is someone at the DZ with both a lot of tunnel and skydiving experience stepping up to be a mentor? The reality is that as iFly and soon the European tunnel market continues to expand, this will continue to present itself as a problem unless we are proactive.

Here's my take on it as witnesses by ME here in OZ and a few places that I've traveled.

Most of the freefly community is pretty tight with each other and willing to share there experience and knowledge around. Those that I know of whohave limited time in the sport but a good amount of tunnel are generally flying with a higher level of freefliers. and are pseudo (informally) mentored by them. I PERSONALLY have not seen instances where young guns are running around trying to overstep their knowledge and ability, outside of actually flying your body.
Granted that my experience may be somewhat bias, as I tend to visit training camps more than i do boogies. So when I'm at a camp there is usually world elite fliers there imparting skills and knowledge, so you would need to have you head up your arse to start second guessing the likes of Mikey Capenter or Kristian Moxness or Matt Hill.. OR Amy and Domi for that matter :D:D:D:D

  16. the primary use for the jacket will be for when Im hiking and camping overnight.
The cold here in winter drops to 0C (low 30'sF). But it has to be able to pack down small enough to fit in a hiking pack with tent sleeping bag trangia food clothing etc..
Hence the need for down and not wool.
I have pure wool thermals and a gortex outershell, so the jacket would be for layering and morning/evening when the temps drop significantly.
