******So, if he wasn't wearing a parachute, how come he was doing practice pulls on the way down? How do we know he didn't have a base rig underneath that floppy shirt... Oh,, and won't the FAA yanks the pilot's license for letting someone exit his plane without a dual parachute rig?

You are awfully quick to questions the man’s integrity. Once again no facts.

    You didn't answer the questions...

Here's an answer, the guy has a gazillion tandem jumps and he did a tandem handle check like he does on every jump;)

***Yes, it looked sketchy to me.
Here is a better video from the thread in General: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8j0YFzmqWc

    Video grab:

Yeah about halfway from dead center to the edge. Any closer and he might have rolled off the edge of the net, maybe?

Still, it was a bad ass stunt and I'm glad I didn't miss it live last night.
There looked to be a second, net below the impact net too.

I find it amazing they would allow the public to drive through a place unsupervised where opening your door or window could mean death.:S

You haven't been to a game park in Africa then :D:D:D

Even if I had never jumped out of a plane, I would not press charges against such considerate burglars.

Putting the ladder back and doing no other harm. Well done!

The owner probably never even knew someone had been there.

Neither would I but dont assume that the world is filled with considerate, reasonable people :ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r:

As an air traffic controller, I was required to retire at age 56. Airline pilots used to be age 60. The snafu with their retirement funds made the FAA bump that up to age 65. Here I am, 58 years old, still going strong (I feel) but I know some day I'll have to quit doing tandems. Does anyone have any opinions on what age should be the cutoff for being a TM?

IMHO it should be based on mental acuity and physical fitness to do the work not age.

Jumping in Canada his canopy didnt open.
    I have no further info.
This post is merely to let those who are not on Facebook know that Gary died today.

It was so great meeting you and Val. I was so happy you stayed with me and put up with me. I loved hanging with Val and you. Plus, the jumps were fabulous ! I learned so much and felt super safe jumping with you guys. Ok ok I did get a kinda chip on my shoulder because I got to jump with you guys. I was nervous the whole time but I wanted to jump up and down and shout " DO YOU SEE WHO IM JUMPING WITH".

Trying not to be rude to anyone but I can't help but brag that you, Val amd the sanders jumped with me AND signed my log book!!

Can't wait to see you guys again!

Vertical is my favorite. Vlady has a really really high quality product. I own the Raptor and it's the greatest piece of clothing I have ever worn.

Same here Raptor for 3 years and looks like new 600 jumps on it and a bunch of tunnel

  13. I used a similar strategy with my year 10 students a decade ago.
There was a computer game called "Drug Wars", you had to build a drug empire, hiring staff people people, buy property and cars and of course buying and selling drugs.
There was a lot of maths in it, but admin suggested I cease using it :D:D:D:D

  16. entre used on USA menus to describe the MAIN meal:P
Spelt used in place of spelled
    the same for learnt
the dropping of the "N" in Government.
    The complete mispronunciation of AnTarCtica.

There's a lot of them actually.
I don't think it's its so much the evolution of language but more so the "dumbing" down of acceptable standards.

    I have used www.sportrx.com successfully

Like Swanee says SprtRx are very good.
As to Goggles or wrap glasses that will entirely depend on the strength of your script.
Mine is 2 steps down from a dog and white cane, so getting wrap specs is VERY difficult.
Goggles are easier but far less versatile.
