I'm about to do AFF 5 and more control I am given the more freaked it makes me, which in turn hightens the buzz. Lets face it if it didn't get your adenilin going you wouldn't be doing it.
I relatio to your landings, i read a few posts here that talk about radio asistance, but nothing about physical TA asisstance.
My DZ had a break in and lost all their radios so my last 3 jumps have been on visuals only. I find that when I'm focussed on what my TA is doing it's easier to glide in and land. Mind you this comment is made from the massive ammount of 4 jumps I have done, so puhaps sofar I've just been dead lucky.

I just finished my 4th AFF Jump and landed it for the 1st time

Jump one , rolled around in mud

Jump 2 forward tucked roll 'cause I screwed up

Jump 3 didnt ket the feet moving

Jump 4 "Listened to the TA and didnt take my eyes off of him, did what i was instructeed to do and it worked a treat. Made the jump a much bigger buzz.

Since your JM will be on the DZ before you ask them to guide you in (if they don't alreddy) using signals or radio.
