LouDiamond 1 #3 April 21, 2007 The waiver that Birdman originally wrote and has since been copied by others, is a demo /liability waiver for BMIs who are taking people on their first flights and or are allowing others to demo suits. It entails the usual liability release legalese as well as an agreement that if you damage the suit, you are responsible for the repair costs. The waiver is designed for Birdman Inc and for the BMIs. It is encumbent on the BMI to have people fill these out for their own protection. If you are not a BMI you don't have to worry about the waiver. Thanks The waiver can be downloaded off of the BirdMan site. Where we use them, generally, is at boogies where we are doing FFC's and organizing.
