J-Rock 0 #1 March 11, 2004 Just looking to see if anyone out there jumps a highly loaded spectre (about 1.5:1). Curious as to the stablility and how it works on birdman jumps. I need to downsize, so im looking for a canopy that will work well with camera and birdman jumps as well as having a little bit of performance! J-Rock Im gonna need a bigger hammer.... J-Rock 0 #5 March 12, 2004 I use to jump a Hornet with dacron lines and ive heard since the they are stretchy they are a little more forgiving on the first initial "snatch" when your canopy deploys. I noticed my Hornet opened alot softer than other ones i jumped with Specta. Ive seen some camera flyers do this cause it seems to help if you have alot of equipment on your head. Deuce 1 #7 March 12, 2004 Gasson jumps a small Spectre with Dacron lines because they open softer. With the load I like to carry on my head, that seems like a good idea.
