Well you're not the only english guy walking around with serious knives....... You should see some of them :S

I haven't looked closely enough to know how they're attached, but some of the crew dawgs have 2 or 3 of those on them...

I think tho, England is the only country (I've seen so far) where they use such knives for skydiving, maybe take the hint :P

It really isn't as mean as it looks. The point is rounded off and so is as pointy as a car key. The blade is in the curve so your less lightly to cut yourself. The blade is not particulary sharp either.

It stays securely in the shealth (see the wings on the handle).

In a wrap you want to be pulling the knife towards you, not stabing at it. With a traditional hook knife it will get more material the more you pull, and it will even slide up and get lines if you are somewhat close.
