skipro101 0 #1 May 15, 2004 Is there a paragliding canopy that can withstand the opening shock of a skydivers deployment? Although I do like to go fast with my canopy, I am also interested in flying it for longer on each jump. I am wondering why skydiving canopies are trimmed with such a steep glide angle and whether or not there are any paragliding canopies out there that are made to be deployed after a skydive. 000 0 #13 November 16, 2004 I talked to a guy last weekend that was flying a prototype. He mentioned $5k when I asked the price and also said that they only sell to the military. Looks like it would be fun to jump on the pre sunset load and hang out up wind for a while...tons of hang time.
